So based on the recent update to the 2014 Valentines Event:

Many of you Alorians told us that you preferred to show your "Big Love" without the big banner, so it shall be done! We sent Liam Love into town with the new vanity Banner-less Love! It's all of the love, without the banner. Visit Liam in any of the towns to exchange your Big Love 2014 banner for Banner-less Love. Also, now players with Big Love 2013 can spread the love too. People waving at players with the old Big Love will now receive 2014's Little Love.

Don't have Big Love or Banner-less Love yet? Both are still available in the store until Monday 2/17!
