Lvl 50 version of Vyxnaar?

Ok, so today, for the firs time ever, I hunted Vyxnaar. And I hunted him for hours. But I have yet to see a Vyxnaar helm drop. I'm not complaining about that, it's actually given me a mission. Now that I see how hard it is to get, I'm going to farm him till I get one. This is because I am bored to death of anything ao3.

So while I was hunting him, it bothered me that there was nothing similar to hunt at my own level. Why is there no lvl 50 dungeon like that, with a monster that respawns over and over, but has a super-low chance of dropping a rare?

I think something like this is needed, and would give those of us who are level capped, something more rare to strive for than the ao3 items we've already farmed to death.

Anyone else agree?

In general, I think there needs to be more unique-looking helms in the game, especially for dex and int. Dex has no unique helms as far as I know, they all look the same. And the int helms are all the same except for the toad tiara. Str has a lot more variety. Can we see some more helms?

And perhaps the ability to wear them as vanity helms (without the +1 armor), to make it even more wkrthwhile to hunt the monsters that drop them.

Seriosuly, today was the first time in a long time I was so determined to farm something, and still am. And I think the fact that I didn't have to keep remaking the game played a huge part in that. Please add more vyxnaar-like bosses.

elite dungeon is for lvl 50s, but yea i agree its SO boring im actually not even playing much since theres no new content once ur lvl 50.

What elite dungeon is for lvl 50? Frozen Nightmares is not, and that's the only elite dungeon I know of...

Btw, I forgot to mention how great it is that even lvl 50s can't really solo Vyx, or do it with their eyes closed -- he throws a good punch if you're not ready for it!

Sounds great, and yet, I would again have no use for the loot other than to sell or show off in town.

I don't even know what I'd do with a Vyx helm -- other than wear it in town -- but I can't think of anything better to hunt down right now.

Devs, any chance of us ever being able to equip regular items as vanity items (without the extra armor, so people still have a reason to buy vanity items with plat)?

Um, I didn't say replace him, I said I want ANOTHER dungeon LIKE his, that drops lvl 50 items. So yes, I want a lvl 50 Vyxnaar.

Level50 Boring? You guys are on too much i think. What i do when i get on: Finish 7 campaign quests, PvP, Farm VL and Captive 5 times each then change character :)

P/s: I dont want another Vyxnaar, something like it or Fridge for Ao3 will do, and suppose it drops a rare Vanity Item?

Yeah what I love about Vyx is that you don't have to keep remaking. And he just pops out at you! I've been farming him mostly with one or two friends, and if anyone lags out or goes afk, I end up having to solo him with my pally. And it's not easy! I just really like the whole balance of Vyx's lair, but would like to be able to farm an item that could actually be worn by me in battle!

Rider, the helm will come sooner or later. I got the conqueror and legend within 15 kills but thats just me :)

What about a new alien monster: "THE BOSS"
He could drop rare, incredibly awesome loot including vanity items. He should be extra hard so only a skilled team of players could beat. him, he would take loads of stratigy and once you fight through 25 of his challenging minions he would pop up. after he got to half life he would start making minions pop up to help him fight like the goblin king in Balfort or TzTok-Jad in RS.

It has 12 armor which is twice the level 25 conq ursan helm, and the same amount as the level 45 mynas helm of legend. So when vyx was released in the game, he was actually dropping a level cap quality item. And i used to think it just had a cool look till I started noticing helm armor since helms were the only items not nerfed.
