Sure, they provide a (small) stat boost over cheaper alternatives, but at least you can always trade the vanity & use it between multiple characters. An arcane pet? That can never be sold back & is stuck to a character you may end up not even using at some point.

28m are u serious? Why wouldn't u buy it? These are one of ones...if I had it I wouldn't even think of selling but it I were to I wouldn't sell for less then 100-200m. That's why cap is raised to 100m cause items should be worth it. If I had the.money id buy it in one sec

Exactly! If I had 2 Arcane pets and the gold, I would buy it as it looks very nice. The only thing that's stopping me is my lack of gold, but I like having things to work towards! I always wanted green arlor as it was nice looking and unique but the price kept creeping up and I missed my chance when they were cheap at Xmas due to an unclear announcement. Ended up farming hard and bought the set! Very nice sense of accomplishment when you finally reach a goal and jester won't be any different. Perhaps the black and white versions will look just as good and I wouldn't mind owning that either!

it will be more expensive in the future.. even if sts will release another color this the original color will remain 14 pcs per class

A vanity in my eyes is something of no use.
Status in a game in my eyes is something so feeble i don't see it's utility.
Though if a vanity is a kind of weapon or armor or boost my stat i will buy it since i see it's potencial utility.

I mean seriously if you won the competition for it you should do what you want with it but turn around and sell something that was earned threw a competition is something special. Can you imagine if sts let the droid costumes or any of the "exclusive" vanities from pl be sold?

Rare vanities should be keep rare!

I would be very disappointed if the whole alor looks the same like me... lol
