Best skills for Commando PvP & PvE

What are the best skills to use for the commando on both PvP & PvE?

Well almost all of com's skills are useful to some extent, but there is one that is just crap.

Force Hammer - poop dmg later on when compared to other skills, no effects.
Nebula - poo dmg, long cooldown, no effects.
(well, my personal opinion)


I would assume you don't want to rely on stims, so vigor and kinetic res would be recommended, if you rather use stims then you can forget about vigor, but kinetic res can do deadly dmg if timed right with combo (for PvP, vigor is must have, keeps you alive)

My personal preference of the 4 must haves of coms are: vigor, kinetic res, inc mass, rage. (almost never used stims, unless absolutely necessary)

THE combo (*backbreaker*): any knockdown skill (stomp/singularity) + backbreaker



Full aggro control (watch ur foes fly around helplessly while you do the evil laugh, rec for PvE, not PvP b/c no bb combo)

stomp, singularity, grav well, grav slam




Lucky bastard (if you feel like ur skills never miss, rec for PvE and PvP)

stomp/singularity, grav slam, grav well, backbreaker



Full combo/dmg (if you want to combo once every 5 seconds, provided ur skills hit, or if u want a backup incase one of ur knockdown skills misses, rec for PvE and PvP)

stomp, singularity, backbreaker, grav slam/grav well/ur choice of whatever skill

For coms you definitely want to max your buffs: increase mass, kinetic reservoir, and growing rage.

For pvp:

one of the combos that i like to use is singularity-->stomp-->backbreaker
this combo usually guarantee a knockdown and hopefully a combo which is better than having only one knockdown skill.

For pve:

Usually you would stay away from the skills that are single targeted based. nebula is a good skill to use while farming in pve
