Wondering is anyone else frustrated with the garbage drops from Victory Lap...?

Seriously, I spend more on pots than what this seems to be worth trying to farm some gear... I know, I know some will say just buy the gear but.... how do I get the money when it all goes to health and mana pots trying to get more money?! :)

Is there a trick or just luck of the drop? haha

I have the same experience. The only decent drop I've gotten was a Force Kite Shield of the Rift.

You just have tonkeep going at it till you can't look at it anymore :)

And yes, the junk loot drops are fewer, so you could lose money, especially with tank pots for OL.

Should only need a damage pot for OL. If you only have one bird tank uses Gurgox hammer for DPS. At the very least you should make about $1500 per run from selling stuff back to game. If you happen to get a good drop you're golden. Just finished two runs and nothing good dropped. Took on OL with only 4 people, 2 mages, bird, and tank, so strapped on a warrior pot for that. No deaths at all, so still made about $2000.

You can do Crush the Keeper runs until you clear the black dudes, and make 2000-2500g pretty easily no pots, and every now and then you get a decent pink you can sell for 1-2K.

Or you can keep killing the black dudes that respawn and they frequently drop green items that sell for around 150 each.

Farming captive audience is good. Pretty decent gold drops, a lot of enemy green drops, and chance at loot with boss.

Can't afford complete rift set yet so the super bonuses are not there yet. Every once in a while OL has a good day, I'd rather not run back to find him respawned with full health after wasting 10 or 20 pots and time, so I'll spend the 1500. It's only play money anyway.
P.S. If one party member says buy pots and all don't you can get a bad rep, esp. if party then gets wiped out. Not worth saving the 1500 gold.

Yeah, i agree on this. And you dont need to pot up for OL if you have two good mages who rapidly spam heal :)

its sad :( i used to have 3 mill
now i have 500k
had to buy ALL my gear due to extreme bad luck and many elixirs, xp, tank, than warrioir melee
