Perhaps STS could grant Elite Vanities for people that reach the current level cap such as for the current expansion, an Elite Vanity Helm given to those that cap before the next expansion comes along and for the subsequent expansions to come, Elite Vanity Armor's and Banners that look unique.

Capped players nowadays don't even bother using the granted cap Vanity Banners because they do not look special, in fact, really plain as compared to other banners such as Big Love or Arcane Banner!

In further expansions, perks (Such as HP/MP Boost, Mana Regen, Crit, Dodge, Dmg) can be added when we go to the NPC in charge of the current expansion to allow us to craft our Elite Vanities into perhaps Elite Gems (Can be removed from items and still be preserved and re-socketed into other items) since Crafting & Upgrading system is out and new, ready for new paths to branch out into.

Edit: Elite Vanities should probably only be granted to those that cap within first 3 days of release expansion for the more hard-working players.

If you played PL, you would know why I disagree

First of all, vanities are supposed to make you look unique, right? If it was a cool-looking vanity, people would wear it all the time. As more and more people cap, the diversity in look goes down. You would walk around and see the same Elite Vanity equipped by the same people.

Second of all, if you to add perks to Elite Vanities, then more people would wear the same exact combination of vanities. Less diversity, again.

Lastly, endgame PvP would simply consist of the majority of capped players equipping the Elite Vanities just for the perks of small stat boosts. And once more, less diversity, this time in PvP.

The idea itself is good, but it Vanities that can give stat boosts should only be obtained by very hard work, not just reaching the Lvl cap.

Lets face it this Will hardly be unique as like half ALs population caps (prob more).,

You can enjoy the perks without having the Elite Vanities on. You just need to go to the respective NPC's to get your "Elite Gem" and socket it so there won't be a problem with every capped player having the same vanities on which limits the player's creativity.

I edited my post to allow those that cap within the first 3 days of expansion to be granted such items so that only a minority have these advantages in the late future.

I won't be able to play until April. I can cap in 3 days too. Do I call it fair for everyone? Not likely

It's for the minority of the community that's going to be able to sacrifice their personal time during the release of the expansion to reach the level cap to obtain these "Limited Edition" items.

People have a life too. And life has some problems too due to which one cannot play.
