Mythic weapon weekend

Can a developer please confirm if we are going to have a mythic weapon weekend with the Glaive, Orbital and Razorbacks. Not asking for specific dates, just if its on the horizon.

I dont think so , cause they just announced today the mythics and arcane items will not be able to upgrade in next expansion , also new expansion its near , so people will keep platinium and gold for new expansion I guess.

Double odds? That would be around July is my guess according to the LAST double odds for mythic weapons.

As for just them appearing in crates again, the last one was during Halloween and Thanksgiving I believe so I don't expect another one anytime soon.

Considering we're about 1 week from the expansion now, if sts is making lvl 41 mythic weapons, i believe the next mythic weapon weekend will be for them. True, mythic weapons arent released with expansions, but it just doesnt feel right releasing the mythic weapons of a season within a week of its end.

If there is not a mythic weekend this weekend, then my guess the next mythic weekend will be new level 41 mythics. I don't really see the point in making a mythic weekend for level 36 mythic after the level cap is raised to 41. But I guess anything is possible but it would seem to me that they would release new level 41 mythic weapons.

I doubt will see a mythic weapon weekend for a bit due to expansion. They might do double experience weekend this weekend. Most past expansions they have one right before new expansion is released.

Devs already confirmed this weekend is Double XP weekend. This was a while back already.

As for Mythic Weapon weekend, I believe Falmear is right. There is no point for them to release one for level 36 mythics this close to expansion. It will most likely be later this year for the level 41 mythics which I think would come out also later during the expansion.

there is not 41 mythic weapon this month or next month... it will be new amulets and rings...

maybe later on like mid of april 41 mythic will come out

I believe so. STS has so many tricks up their sleeves to get money. Ok, first, a few days before expansion they will make the mythic weekend. so everyone spends some plat or even all of it. Then comes the expansion and people will start to buy plat to open crates with new gear.

Mythic L41 weps wont be released anytime soon (I think so) because this season, the new mythics were released only halfway through so it may be the same for Season 6. Mythic helm and armor will be released at the start, with jewellery being released shortly after.

Purely based on previous release history:

4/19/2013 – Nordr released
5/10/2013 – Mythic weapons (31) released (21 days)
6/27/2013 – Mythic weapons (31) round 2 (48 days)

8/29/2013 – Shuyal released
9/20/2013 – Mythic Weapons (36) released (22 days)
10/24/2013 – Mythic Weapons (36) round 2 (34 days)

Judging by this, I would expect new mythic weapons about 3 weeks after Dragon Enclave is released.

HOWEVER, there are some other factors that will weigh in.

1. The Nordr expansion was much shorter than the Shuyal expansion (Nordr 131 days, Shuyal 183 days). Even in the shorter Nordr, the second release of Mythic weapons was 13 days later into the expansion than in Shuyal. What this means is people want it... BAD. This is a great opportunity for STS to cash in.
2. If STS plays their cards right with the new itemization, they could make SERIOUS bank by having a mythic weapon weekend early on (if they release legendary weapons later). We all know, armor and helm is nice, but what do people want most? Weapons.
3. The real reason, IMO, that mythic weapons came around 3 weeks after update was not developement time. Instead, they want to give people time to reach cap so when they are released there is large immediate demand for them. Normally it would be the same this expansion. EXCEPT that there is this contest to get people to cap as fast as possible. It is no longer necessary to wait 3 weeks because a large portion of the very active player base (especially those that spend a lot of plat) will be capped within 7 days.

Now for my interpretation...

So all that being said, I would not be surprised to see new mythic weapons very soon (7 daysish after expansion).
