Make My Mage Faster?!!

I have 5 skill points left to use. I want to be as fast as possible. Where should I use them? Does the 1% movement speed really make much difference? Does the max of the Agility passive make the mage faster?

How about buying pet with movement speed increase and using the 5 skill points to increase critical or something? Still extremely faster?

I believe speed caps at 30% not sure. So if you have a 10-15% speed pet and speed elixir from Klaas or Shaz, it would render your 5% in speed useless.

I have 5 in move and dex and it was quite helpful during the transition from pink gears and pets to orange gears and pets. I'm thinking about moving those 10 into crit and dmg for the upcoming expansion.

So if you have a 10-15% speed pet and speed elixir from Klaas or Shaz, it would render your 5% in speed useless.If I recall, it has a max of 25%, which is why any plus speed stuff is fairly useless on a mage with gale (4 seconds of 25% speed with a 5.5 sec cooldown).

Edit: I've dabbled with going +5% speed during a free respec. Personally, I didn't like it. Didn't feel like it was enough of a noticeable difference for what I could've gotten with the points instead.

Thanks guys! I just bought Deston egg and it gave me a good enough speed boost. I mainly wanted the boost for farming crates in Brackenridge anyway.
