How many locks before you scored?

I want to give a realistic idea of what can be expected when opening locks. I've opened quite a few at this point and have gotten pretty lucky. The first 20....garbage. Just pinks and plats. But then I decided to go for 50 just to see...then bam I got a lunar then Hammer jaw. Now at this point I have gotten like 10 or so mythics out of about 170 locks. So please reply to this post with you experiences and suggestions! Any tips and tricks if you got them and horror stories too! Thanks all!

All right all I just figured I would update my post because I did try my luck at a few more last week.....and woots I got a Glacian. That was after about 25 crates. So at this point I have gotten two arcane eggs and buku mythics but no arcane weapons. All i gotta say is people who have been saying I got a Kershal and 3 mythics in 5 cartes....PROVE IT :playful:

I opened 100+ locks and i got sam, a former guildmate opened 16 locks n get arcane staff. It always depends on your luck. Btw congrats :3

i opened 84 my first time and Got Glacian on 82nd chest and Hammerjaw on my 83rd chest...also got ullers plate around the 20th one...then opened about 121 a couple weeks later and only got an amulet of doom..Crates are based off of pure luck..

Exactly right! Does anyone know for sure if any lvl player can get arcane weps and myth gear?

Yes you can be a lvl 3 and loot arcane or mythic weapons

I opened 5 and got 1 mythic amulet, then I stopped because I knew my luck stopped right there.

And also me and a few friends also found it to be helpful if you open a bunch and dont get nothing to just stop for a couple hours then come back..we both looted a good item within 20 that we opened then..whether or not it was pure coincidence but it worked for me..numerous times

yeah, you guys are pretty darn lucky.

I've looked into my plat history. I've opened over 250 chests. I've got two mythic bows to show for it. everything else was gold, more plat which I used to open more chests which overall gave bad pinks.

Last week I opened 235 locked. At about 100 locked I got mythic armor for war. At about 200 I got mythic ring. I got 4 or 5 Orion, a couple Ewen and the rest was junk pink, gold or plats. Overall, I wasn't impressed. I figured for $100 USD + the countless hours it took to farm 235 locked, that I would've receive something arcane. I want Kershal so I may try one more time after expansion.

on double odds to get eggs weekend, i got 2glacians in 46crates 1week later, I opened 70 and got samael. 1day after Singe's release, I opened 90 and got singe.

I have yet to loot an arcane in 400+ lockeds. However, on double mythic weekend, in around 200 crates - I looted about 10 mythics. Of course, they weren't worth that much at the time due to double mythic weekend. In total, the worth was about 20m-30m.

Since posting yesterday, I decided to try my luck again after reading the kinds of luck some of you guys had. I spent another $100 to buy plats and a ~ $775k in game gold to buy 174 locked. I opened throughout the day and I got absolutely nothing. I mean complete junk. 1 Orion and 2 Ethyl. I didn't even come close to earning back what I spent on crates.

I don't know how much money STS expects us to spend on this game but this is ridiculous. They should have it be luck but once you spend a certain amount and don't loot anything, you should get a little something to make you feel good about spending $100 cash. I'm poorer in both real life and in game which is not cool IMO.

From reading many posts, talking to friends and personal experience I would guess the probability is:
Myth 1 in a 200
Arcane 1 in a 1000

2) If you don't like the way this game works, please quit.
3) I don't think 10 year old kids will be stealing their dad's credit cards and getting the plats. The foremost reason why STS has NOT implemented purchase via carrier.
4) Just wait for the expansion, okay? Stop passing out judgements about STS. They are humans and humans can make errors. I think they are granted that. I would rather wait and spend my time in something more Constructive instead of whining.

Guys, arcane items are suposed to be extremely rare, so if you dont get it and hope they higher the drop rates everyone would have it then it became new mythic stuff, and mythic became legendary :) Im sure you guys wont want this scenario to happen :)

Locked will give what is currently available at the time you open.

So for your example looting a crate before Singe released and opening it today WOULD give you a chance to loot him.
