How do you guys/girls get people to buy the lower level and more common items that you usually pick up from farming? Ex. Epic items? Legendary?

General rule of thumb - unless the epic item gives a damage boost (usually represented with a decimal number with a value to the tenths place), it's safe to assume it's worth next to nothing and liquidate immediately.
With legendaries, check auction. That'll always tell you if it's worth selling. Considering I'm extremely poor, I usually list an item if it's worth over 1k. If it's worth less, I just liquidate.
