View Full Version : Does the level 2 discontinued item still drop?

I've been looking for the level 2 discontinued wand and bracer lately and today I got told that they can be dropped in Forest Haven, just like Sai became able to drop again. Can anyone confirm this, or it is just a myth?
Would be really nice if STG could release a official drop-list with drops and drop chance (%) of every boss and/or chapter. What do you think?

If its discontinued, it wont drop

It was never a droppable item. It was purchasable from one of the NPC's in forest haven. A bit like the Wammo's but they were purchasable from the store.

Yes, but like the Sai - wasn't it a quest item at first, and after Rhino and Fox update bacame a drop?

Easy way to see if its dropping is check cs. If it is, then like the sai, somebody will list it at some crazy price hoping that the buyer doesn't know it now drops.

I don't think so. And I don't know anything about it being a quest item. Bottom line is, its discontinued. Nuff said. o:

Lol I remember seeing some listed for 10m back a while back.
A few months ago (last year) I saw them listed for about 300k-500k
Now I never see any in cs anymore.

It was never a purchasable item from the NPC's in forest haven. It was a purchasable item back in the old tutorial dungeons. You could buy the now discontinued items from the NPC at the end of the tutorial.
Sai - drops since forest haven revamp
Wand, eye, wing and some other less desirable lvl 2 items are indeed discontinued.

Ok, discontinued forest haven items, are just items from the tutorial of the "Old Forest Haven" in which you could buy gear like, level 2 wands or shields, which are worth millions now, but ever since the new Forest Haven, you could still earn broken swords, sai etc. etc.

Well what I was saying was almost the same. It pretty much is from Forest haven, pretty sure the tutorial is in forest haven too. But LwMark said it was from an old town vendor, so I was kinda trying to go by what he was saying xD
But it doesn't really matter where it came from. I think Catzu just wants to know if its still drops, or, are obtainable without buying it from someone.

Sai was purchasable from the Alien Oasis tutorial for archers. Now they drop, but the others don't

Bear had the lost expedition.
Bird had the alien oasis.
Mage had... I forgot. Maybe it was the Balefort castle.

Well, my question was if it was a myth that these items were dropable again. Why I used "discontinued" was because that's the name by popular speech. I guess not many people would recognize it if I wrote Dark Wand of Smarts and Dark-Eyed Bracer.

Oh it counts back that far? Jee, how would have I known? Forest Haven has changed so many times from what I remember. Forest Haven has had a tutorial in the first map too, I think. And I don't think I did do the tutorials back then. Only the one in map 1. But thats not the point. Who cares where they came from. Thats not relevant anymore.

they renamed it and some 21-25 versions
i think because it was annoying people when they were searching cs for 'demonic' sets
