Hello,

I was wondering if anyone has experienced high data usage with Pocket Legends?

The reason I ask is my own due diligence has shown it to hardly use much data (outside of the installation over Wi-Fi), but my service provider is suggesting my usage to be in the excess of 400 mb for a day.

Has the develop released any hard numbers that I can present to service provider of a typical usage hour of Pocket Legend or do any other users have information about their experiences that I can also use.

Thank you.

I have no idea how much data I send, but it must be A LOT because I spend all my free time on it, and all my sleep time on it, and eat time, and well, it's in my hands all the time unless I'm showering... O_o or at work... I stay on wireless network to play because I know I will regret it if I play on at&t network. My suggestion: Play on a wireless network, less lag, no data usage on your phone plan.

I play on 3g for a hour or so a day, and it only shows up as 500 mb used in a month or something like that. So it must be just you. Because all it is, is a set of codes and what not to display the images which in actuality, is not all just much data to send I believe. Unless, someone correct me if I am wrong, I am mistaken.

With the exception of downloading the app, and patching, actual gameplay usage should be less than 1k/second generally (lower if you do solo instances, etc).

3600 kb an hour. ( about 3.5 mb/hr)

There is an application called watchdog that apparently track application data usuage, though I have not tested in as I am on iPhone.

My bill for Nov was HKD 7600 which is USD 978.98 (using a mkt rate of 7.7632).

I also use wifi at home but not often.

I play about 1 hr a day on average for a month with 30 days in Nov that is 30 hours of 3G game play for a total bill of USD978.98. Lets take out the plan and all the other cr@p like international SMS, etc and lets call it USD 900 bucks~!!!!

Thank God I have unlimited data package which I ended up paying USD 70 bucks only. Im from Hong Kong and my usual dadt charges are in this price range monthly.

A- This makes no sense. We have unlimited here as well. We could also calculate very skewed figures by using ridiculous rates, but no one would pay them. Hell the company would probably just dismiss the charges at that point. (but that is America for you, always having someone else pick up the tab.)

You paid US 70, not 978.98.

B- China doesn't have unlimited internet, even if that is what you pay for :)

Would it be possible to accidently run more than one instance of the game?

It shouldn't be - launching it again just activates the existing one.
