drops and last hits

its seems like drops are better when i get the last hit on the boss.

or i only get something when i land the killing blow on a normal mob.

There is nothing you can do to increase your odds at getting a drop other than luck elixirs (or so people claim, but I haven't personally experienced any luck from it). Loot is random. I've been lagged out for an entire boss fight, and woke up dead with a rift item. Other times, I could be doing all the work and some leech gets the rare.

Agreed pure luck, had my best drops without elixer, parties with various levels, different devices etc. So if u get nothing its plain cold bad luck...

Luck pot never helped me... money throwed away thought.... rest is luck only... or u get it or not...
