When can a new member post on forums without it requiring moderator approval? Is it after 10 posts? I saw on one of Doc's posts that at 10 they can send private messages and move from New Member to Junior Member title. But I wasn't sure at what point their posts hit the forums automatically without forum approval. Is it also after 10 posts?

(I think I have seen this answered somewhere, but I can't seem to search for the right terms to find it.)

I just hit 10 posts a few days ago. I got private messages then. I also sent an email to support, but who knows what that accomplished. Lol.
I was waiting for a specific time at first, I thought u got pm privilege after a week or two weeks or something. Hahah

Also, I remember my first couple posts and my first pic required "mod approval"

I believe it was my first couple posts (non-pic) and also my first (only so far) pic.

It only requires approval if you are trying to post a link or a picture or a video.

If you're just posting text, it's all good.

We do this to keep someone from making a new account and then posting a link to a malicious website, or porn or other junk like that.

Thank you very much! I am planning a contest that requires people post here on the forums....so I needed to know if newly registered people would be at a disadvantage. Looks like they won't be. ^_^
