Weapon choice

Ok so I'm kind of in a dilemma right now and can't decide which wep to go.

My pure dex bird is currently level 26.

I have the jewel thief bow/talon/dagger

I tend to solo a lot and these were my observation:

Bow has a longer range but enemies hit harder
Daggers are faster but I have to get up close to attack.
Talon has shorter range

My question is, what wep should i be using right now and at what levels do each weapon tend to shine?

Some additional random question:

Does Cruel blast/explosion do additonal damage?
The lower the item speed means the faster it is right? Meaning 1.4 hits faster than 1.5?

Personally I like the talon; it does decent damage and the extra armor means if I have to go solo or get mobbed I have an easier time. Still a long enough range to run circles around opponents.

I have a lvl 25 Pure Dex and use the Jewel Thiefs Platinum Talon and Wing Shield of Legend. These work well for me and I work alone a lot as well. That's what I would suggest.

I recomend to not use the dagger since archers hav low armor and going head to head with a mob, the mob would win.... very quickly
