I dont think giving people a double xp just to get 8k xp is a legit reason :) You will lvl up before 1/4 of the weekend bypassed, LOL. Id rather ask for a free respec than a double xp that just came before the expansion.

Double exp weekend comes only in end of season... season just started...

Let me fill you in on why Double XP Weekends happen. They usually happen on the weekend before a new expansion. It's to help capped people cap their pets and newbies to level up faster. You're doing great work, capping 1-week after the expansion feels great (not really). I capped 1 day after expansion with no elixirs, platinum, or abbadon.

No need to rush (unless you have Singe Giveaway paranoia).

Just run the new maps since they have an increased exp multiplier and just enjoy the brand new content.

Farm some teeth while you level too.
