Is it stupid to build a smart quick bear?

Hey guys,

Just started the game and is loving it. I have been reading about bears online and I am a bit confused, there is stuff that applies before the "update". I am not sure which "update" it is.

Have followed the advise here to pour everything into dex with nothing in str, then then the "update" happened and I deleted the character and started again. I am actually on my 3rd bear as I type this. Is there any guide lines to building a bear, that is updated.

Also a quick question, how stupid is it to dual spec int and dex on a bear, advantages and disadvantages?

well, according to some math i think (somebody elses lol), to dual spec you need to use your base stat and another to equip best level items. not 100% sure of that though... all I know is that i failed to do str and dex on my mage a while ago.

So its either dual spec, str + int or str + dex for bears. Got it. Is there still advantages to go full dex on bears? or full int on bears?
