Hey there, newcomer! Welcome to the forums! I have created this guide to help you become more familiar with these forums much faster. I'll explain to you what these forums are, and I'll tell you all its hidden little secrets as well.
First off, what exactly IS a forum? A forum is an online community where people of similar interests interact with each other, and engage in association with a certain thing. In our case, these forums help the people of Arcane Legends, Pocket Legends, Dark Legends, Star Legends, Battle Dragons, and Battle Command interact and communicate with each other about the games. It's kinda like a Facebook or Twitter for the games. It's also a place where you can find out news and events sooner than they are announced in the game.
How do the forums work? Like i said before, the purpose of these forums are to interact with other players outside the game. You can post questions for veteran players to answer, you can keep up-to-date on the latest news, you can make suggestions for the games, and so much more! When someone creates a post/topic, they have created a thread for other forumers to post on. And who knows. Maybe a Spacetime Studios employee will personally respond to your thread! (That's always special :)).

Moderator/Mod: An employee of STS who's job is to monitor these forums and make sure everyone is following the rules. They go by the forum title "Super Moderator".
OP/Origninal Post(er): The original post that created the whole thread. (The person who created the thread).
Post: A reply to a thread, or a comment in general.
Thread: A single string of posts that revolve around a topic. The title of this thread is Zylx's Guide to the Forums *Arcane Legends Edition*. This post, as well as every other post after it makes up this thread.
Registering for the Forums
Before you are able to post anything on these forums, you must register. Once you register, you will become a Spacetime Insider, and you will be the first to receive news about the games. Registering is completely safe and free. All you need to do is click [register] at the top right of this page, and follow the on-screen instructions.

The Spacetime Studios forums are separated into subforums for each game and for Insiders. Some subforums also have their own set of subforums.
Spacetime Insiders: News about Spacetime Studios and their games are posted here first. You must be signed in (registered) to access these subforums.

Basics to Posting
Congratulations! You've successfully registered to the forums!! You are now free to contribute to the community! You do so by posting threads and/or replies to threads. Make sure you follow those forum rules though!
Quoting posts: So, you see that someone posted something that sparks your interest, and you wanna reply to it. This is where quoting is useful. Quoting allows you to reply to another user's post while keeping all the text in their post in yours for reference. This also sends a notification to the forumer, if you want them to read your reply.
Adding Cosmetic Effects to your Posts
All the visual effects that go into the text are generated by Bulletin Board Codes (BBCodes). These codes use a series of brackets [], slashes /, and text to edit the overall text. If you are on the computer, these are all automatically created by your text toolbar. Some devices/programs dont show all editing tools, so sometimes you'll have to enter them in manually. The first bracket box contains the text command. The text to be edited follows after that (with no space). After that, the second bracket box contains the text command followed by a slash /. For more info about BBCodes, you can check out the wikipedia page by clicking here (http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/BBCode). (Note: Some of the codes mentioned on wikipedia wont work on these forums). Signatures are the small bits of text and photos below most posts. Their purpose is to spread information without spamming, and/or let others know who you are.
There are a few signature shops in the AL Fan Art section of the forums. You can make a request, or you can always create your own using any graphic-editing tools (paint, photoshop, etc).
