We killed two other bosses in a usual way and when Apocai health dropped to 0 it froze. We found that we can push him with normal attack... half an hour later we were there... pushing him all the way to the beginning of the map

This is a known glitch and occurs rarely when a flame-oriented weapon is combined with specific pets passive. That's all you need to know, it's not really an obstacle to gameplay due to its rarity.
