Dex and Skill's damage/ hit/ crit %

Does dex also affect spells hit and crit chance?

Or dex only affect's the basic weapon hit/crit?


The spell's damage will be affected by int but not dex right?

Cause i have been reading previous post and people have been saying that dex gives more damage to a mage instead of int cause it increases more dps, crit, hit %. But i wonder did they account the increase spell damage that int gives?

Yes dex affects hit chance of normal attacks and skills.

Spell damage varies on what kind of character you are. There was a stat based skill damage update a while back, meaning:

If your a bear your skills do more damage with STR.
Birds skills more damage with DEX.
Mage skills more damage with INT.

Also, with the new update and lesser emphasis on dex giving the most damage, skill damage doesnt fully rely on dex anymore. It used to be that all your spare stat points go to dex to boost damage. It maybe the case now, but more dex for more hit chance and crit rather than skill damage IMO.
