Which Pets Are Helpful Too Rouges?

Hi my name is Levayrist and i was wondering about which pet's are helpful too rouges and why? Please leave your suggestions and choices in your replies thank you.

Definitely Horton, he is really cheap and yet one of thee best pets for Rouge. Horton's bonuses give +20 DEX, 10% Crit, and +5 mana regen. Arcane ability includes giving you +15 INT for 8 seconds.

Besides arcane pets which are good for all classes -

Malison (boost to all stats, good for survival)
Haze (speed and mana regen),
Talon (dmg, mana)
Slag (Dmg and its Arcane ability)

The new Shadowlurk stats looks good, havent tried it yet.

Lots of them are good really, here's a list of my top picks ( endgame rogue ):

Malison - Great PVE pet, stats are a nice boost to all attributes and has a 15% dodge increase arcane which can help you last in pve.

Valkin - Obtained once you complete Inan elite ( Shuyal Ashral Tower ) , stats are really good, arcane has a nice visual and it returns mana based on level, adds you mana regen and boosts stats for a little while.

Ribbit - Once of the cheaper ones, if you want something killed fast he's your frog. Arcane - 40% increase to crit for a short time. Another pro on him: Lower cooldown on the arcane than some pets.

Jack - Obtained with Hauntlet coins, he basically solves your mana problems. Arcane is a mana return over time, every tick of the arcane returns some mana ( at 40 ticks 7 times and returns 170ish mana per tick ) and after the mana return is done you get a small speed boost.

Nexus - Dropes in Kraken Mines 3, stats not so good but arcane is a mana return which is based on pet level. ( The bigger the pet level, the more mana you get. )

Grimm - Not so cheap but well worth it now. Stats are super good and arcane is a cleave which works on 5 enemies, has a chance to stun, bleed, and a 5% chance to instakill ( banish) a mob. Instakill does not work on bosses or in PVP. Has a monster passive at 40 and up, reduces all attribute by 20, hit by 30% and armor by 20%, so it's lets you cut through mobs and through people too if you want to pvp.

Talon - Possibly the best rogue legendary, stats boost your damage but take away from your health a bit, so might wanna be careful with him.

Slag - Another mythic one, stats are exactly the same as Grimm's but the arcane is a aoe arcane with a stun instead of a cleave which Grim has.

Since i do not know what capital you're working with, here's a few arcane pets just for the intro , and you decide if you want to get them:

Glacian - Stats are more towards the mana, arcane is a ice shield for some time.

Samael - Possibly best arcane out there, he does it all. Poisons, banishes, boosts stats a lot and at cap level you get an aura around him which restores mana and hp over time.

Hammerjaw - One of the rogue favourites, arcane boosts all attributes by 8 secs.

Honorable mentions:
Loki, Scorch, Snaggle, Singe, Crawly, Wurmtongue and Scorn.

Oke considering cheaper pets

One i really like is Granite 25 dex 5 dodge 4 mana, horton 20 dex 10 perc crit and 5 mana, wrath jaw 20 dex 10 damage 20 int and 4 health. Of course standards are sort of malison, ethyl, ribbit. But there are so much pets who all do fine. Just try to use eli pets from the start and yah never waste any lvling. I mean even a prance/koko has its uses for me from time to time.

For instance i got 4 sets of gears, best defense, best pot, best crit and my favourite the tarlok defensive combi of dodge/ pot and defense.
Overall i use crit and my dodge/pot combi most, and with that come specific pets, but sometimes ill need my defensive combi wich for rogue is more based on armor then health. So means i got other pets for that as well.

But trust me Granite so cheap and still a very nice pet, his stun so welcome sometimes.

It really depends on your level. Primary stat / damage % have different benefits depending on that. However, in general:

Malison is the survival standby. This pet is a must have for any player. It is starting to fall a bit behind now due to lack of % damage, but I still recommend having him handy. That dodge buff does actually help.

All mythic and arcane pets are excellent, obviously, barring scorch which is not great for end game. Grimm and abaddon are my preferences from the mythic group. I know many are die-hard slag fans, but I have never really been thrilled by that pet.

I dislike talon due to it's complete lack of health benefits. A dead rogue does no damage.

Haze is outstanding, with stacking armor reduction, speed and damage. One of the highest damage boosting pets around.

Kettle is an often forgotten pet that is amazing for anyone who is staying to legendary / non-plat pets. Stat boosts, damage, speed and 15% damage reduction to enemies.

Valkin is a very nice pet both for party buffs and mana replenishment. Also gives nice stats.

I'm not going to get into all the reasons I dislike ribbit...

Leveling a wurmtongue now, he might or might not be awesome. Unsure until I see the damage of his poison at end game level.

I like Slag, Talon, Haze, Malison, Loki, Ribbit, Wrathjaw and of course I wish I had Arcane pets. There are also cheaper pets like Granite and Horton. Also story token pet Meep Moop.. Pretty much i like anything with a lot of Dex
