This is the short period when its better to spend plat on elixirs, combo or revive - so actually PLAYING THE CONTENT - than just opening crates or merch and sitting in towns.

I suggest to open crates slowly slowly.... Like 5-10 crates daily.. It helps to control our lust and is easy on pockets... Also i think it gives you a bit higher chance of getting somthin good rather than popping 100locks in an hour

I think STS should release a disclaimer saying "The chances are getting if good loot are based purely on luck. Open at your own risk!"

I'm sorry you feel that way. It's a gamble and sometimes you get lucky and other times you don't. The thrill of 'maybe' opening a mythic or arcane is what it's about.

When you are opening a locked grand crate of the watch it's fundamental you acknowledge the fact that probably you won't loot anything and you are just doing it for fun or simply throwing your money out of the window.

It's important you consider your money as "lost money".
Money that probably fell out of your pocket strolling back home from work, school or a appointment at your local neighbourhood park with a girl you like.


Then if you loot a arcane or a mythic item, no problem all is fine.

Remember there is also fever in unluckiness and the fact you didn't loot a single mythic or arcane this time might keep you longing to open other crates in future...you don't know but it's true.

Be apathetic with locked crates, put no hope in them it or they will eat your mind.

Simmer down people, there's a platinum sale going on.. It's luck of the draw, I opened over 200 today.. Got 2 ullers Helm and a fang, got Some platinum some junk eggs and some worthless legendarys, no garuntee, it's a gamble, just roll the dice and hope for the best... Lol you can't get mad, no different than playing the lottery.. I'll hit it again tomorrow, cause you never know when that arcane jackpot is gonna come lol..

It was my first time using these locked crates i didnt know the chances were so low on getting a great item. The only thing good i probably did with the plat was buying lepre.

If the chances of getting something "good" was better than 1%, then these "good" items would be somewhat common and would not sell for the millions of gold that they sell for and instead would only be worth a few thousand. They are considered "good" because they are rare.

If you are considering stats only in determining which items are good, then the expedition rifle would be considered a good item since it's the best sorcerer rifle. But they are common and only sell for a few thousand gold.

When most people say "good" they mean "worth a lot of gold", and that means "rare". Only rare items sell for millions.

Spacetime Studios is a company. A company that works, develops and creates to make real money out of it. Money to live, feed their kids, take care of their home and travel. Whatever you need to do with your money, they need it too. So obviously, gambling is a way to make money out of it, in example, you. Lucky or unlucky, you chose to open these crates, with an unsure state of mind. You did know you wouldn't definitely get what you want, like in casinos. Same principal. Locked crates are more likely opened by rich players - creates the economy. Makes you able to be a merchant, buy cheap, sell high and gain your gold like that. However, making this thread only leads to dramatic replies - thread lock.

I have found a few other games to keep me occypied where your money actually gets you something. AL...not worth putting money into. Its a much better game without getting dissapointed about bieng "unlucky" with locked. Being a freemium member has been much more rewarding than being a plat player. But to each their own

this... this is a good idea... if only STS use the "donate" word, maybe we wouldn't feel terrible as we spent our plats. But the problem is, there is no discount in donation :(
