Hey! Have any of you heard of this guy called?

Hi guys! I just started playing this game after a year or so. I met a lvl 70 player, *******, with a full fiery set. He or she asked to lend me 300k, and gave me a full humanity set in compensation. We agreed that *******, would later pay me back 350k and I would give back the set. I thought this was all fine, and so two days or so later, I asked if he/she was ready. *******, said yes, and so we met. However, he said to give him the set back, and that he would then give me back my money, so that we would trust each other. I was very reluctant, but after constant prodding, I agreed after he gave me some more items as compensation, saying they were worth 200k+. Thus, we traded once again.

At this point, he then deleted and left. I then checked the cs with the items he gave me as compensation, which is when I realized they were trash (Beastly gemmed helmet + Chiroptera claymore of the dead). I was quite disappointed.

I then went on my alt, added *******, , and asked why he deleted me, to which he responded by deleting me and leaving again.

So, I did realize right after he was most likely a scammer of some sort; who knows, maybe he somehow accidentally deleted me twice and is planning to pay me back!

Anyhow, I'm asking if any of you have met *******, , as he seemed to have a decent amount of gold, as he had a full fiery mage set. He is a lvl 70 mage.

Its hard to loose something you work hard for and its hard to find someone you can trust, even the very close friend can one day stab you in the back, i have lost 60mill gold and 100mill plus worth of pink sets, and again during mt fang lost 7 crafted sets, humania 4 crafted sets and blacksmoke mountains 1 swift sets savage 2 sets total, but i'm really glad those who unfriend me for not borrowing my sets to them its goes to shows there true person there are, but still i loan out to a few really trusted old friends but still is hard feeling inside that you will get scammed again, but always think positive and nothing will last forever and let karma will one day fall on that person.

But buddy its against TOS mentioning names here its better in future you take screenshots in all your dealings and report to STG if anything goes wrong, but one thing that STG cannot help is all sales or trades are final with both willing party, so always to check first before trading.

well..when i see/witness a scam, i report it..and let the support staff decide what to do.

I have a particular friend in Pocket Legends who I trust over anyone. However, even with him I've got to be careful because I never know if somehow his account got compromised and someone is faking to be him. You've got to be very, very careful when dealing with anyone. Generally it helps to have some set principle like for example never giving someone anything without an item or gold matching the value as temporary compensation. Just let your friend know it's nothing personal, but merely a principle that you strive to stick to.

Sorry, didn't mean to turn this into a "how not to get scammed 101" but I felt I should speak up and give some words of advice considering I've never been scammed in my entire 3 1/2 years playing this game. :)
