New to the game

I've been playing for a few weeks now. I have a question about my skills. Can I only have four out at a time or can I utilize them all?

You can utilize them all! Just map more skills, and they should be on the main hud. If not, press the top right button that looks like a book (spellbook) and they will show =p

I see. Odd thing is, when I goto map my skills, they do not stick. Just the four sopts on the right are the only ones I can modify.

yes, press the spell book on the main display, it opens the rest.
