View Full Version : How to please pl players without new major content

1. Elite maps: Use the content u have to create "elite" maps for pl, it should take less time then from scratch and add about 76 more "lvls" to the game. "Elite" maps should be available to all players about lets say 20 and up, although for 20-30 they can only do fathom crypts and below. 30-40, lost expedition and below etc. This system should make the mobs x5 harder(guessing atm), and have x5 chance to gain legendary items. Also for pvpers, there should be a "zero kills, zero deaths mode" so they can farm on their toons without ruining their hard earned, precious pve stats.

2.Pvp and ctf: Also use the content you have, choose the biggest place possible, to create 5v5v5v5 maps or something like this :D. So basically, its 4 teams against each other and every team can kill each other and the game should be up to uhhh: 50. Also a 10 player Free For All map would be pretty fun. This would create lots of fun in pvp and would make it more intense. As for ctf, maybe create up to 10 ctf games and using some of the maps, create multiple spawn areas to avoid spawning and stuff. If everything was like this, pl would be restored :D

3.Less plat costs: Since pl has a low player base, renames and auction slot and stuff should cost less, those who bought them for the original price should get plat refunded.

4.Class balance: Major issue, Rhinos need buffing, the dmg nerf should be removed to increase the amount of dmg and not 10 minute rhino v bear fights. Rhinos and fox needs more aoe to face the other classes in pve, Rhino's rhino might needs a range and dmg increase and a aoe combo should be summon(that needs a boost) holy tempest or something and foxes hypno should pull multiple targets and combined with howl should make a combo.

5.Sets:"Nerf savage, Nerf plat pack" is all pl players want, when nerfed plat packs should sell for a few plat a piece. Fbow and hallo are gud the way they are, because people pay ALOT of money for some.

IMO elite maps would work best at lvl 76. Basically exactly same maps as some already existing content. And the decision which map would be transformed elite would be through a voting contest . Exactly same map and enemies but transformed into lvl 76 superhardelite maps. The difference between elite and normal lvl 75 content would be increased pink drop rate.

Don't know if ur second request is hard to make into reality. That's codemonkey stuff and I have no idea if it's easy or hard to convert pve maps into pvp maps.

Reducing plat cost would be beneficial for us but Idk if thats a good thing for stg. They need the money to create that content.

Class balances have been discussed and suggested easy fixes, but we have no idea when and if class balances are going to happen.

Savage nerf is the absolutely most cruicial pvp balance fix.


Overall nice suggestions but being a realist is easier as u won't be disappointed.

The elite map idea is like AL kind of. Each map has a copy of it that is much harder and has better drops.

More elite maps for each cap level would be nice. And they should make it where you can gain kills and not exp. like in the old days where you can lock exp and get kills. These would be elite kills of course and a lot harder to get.

Also compuer pvp mobs would be nice but then again they'll get teamed and farmed, maybe make em able to boot a player if its 3v1+? Making them rushers with good gear would be nice, and when they kick teamers, they can "invite" other computer pvpers to come and 2v2 the remaining people. Making them make games would be nice to keep all lvl ranges active and fun

Just ideas and less work for sts to make then from scratch

If they gonna spend some time on PL just let them knock it out all at once with new content for us
the more of these small additions just means a longer wait for real new content

Its because content takes $$$$ and time, lots of time.
This way takes just time not much $$$

This way takes just time not much $$$
How does this work?
the developers' time essentially is their money
that's why they are spending it on AL
same time makes them more money there
for PL the biggest money maker for their time would be serious new content, I think their goal is to attempt to schedule this when they get a chance

I agree, also pvp balancing there are never "just what players want" there is also some sound in the backround of someone crying saying this set or that class is to good because of this and that

But I agree savage is just still way above out of balanced so yeah FIX PLEZ

But, pl is not as active as al, most people wont bother spending plat if nothings new, lowering plat costs= more people buying more often= more $
