Mirage Staff of Cosmos vs. Keeper Staff of Cosmos

Hello,

I've noticed that most mages are using the keeper staff over the mirage. I am a bit puzzled as to why the preference since the cosmos set bonus only comes with using the mirage staff. If you guru's could kindly enlighten me, thank you!

Also, dbl pot on damage and it's a farming tool. Get 3 or more mages doing the same, well let's just say who cares about bonus, the group rocks.

Skill damage is higher when keepers is equiped so bigger aoe Nuking.

1. Anyone know the AOE range on the Keeper's staff? and if a lot of damage is supposedly diminished for the AOE?
2. How does keeper's affect skill damage? I had thought skill damage is purely affected by stats?

simple because the damage is higher

higher weapon damage raise the skill damage

Keeper's area damage is awesome,, I use it mainly because of it's area effects and higher skill damage

id u have 3 mages or more with keepers u can clear AO3 any map to boss within 5 mins clearing all. The damage and AOE is awsome.

^^ Cyber set seems to be just as effective now :). I dumped my keeper staff cuz of it.

meh prefer skipping cyber cosmos and getting the other two. if sometime in the future, at level cap 65 we have nothing to do i will redo quests for cosmos lol

I am done with cyber. I refuse to do the other two. I think my ipod will be in the trashcan by the time I get around to killing 600+ ao3 bosses...
