The Platinum Sale has come to an end.
Special April Fools 2014 Black 'n White Jester Vanities now in The Store! These vanities will be removed mid-day CDT on Wednesday, April 2nd, so get them while you can!
Damage zones for Elite and normal Tindirin bosses have been adjusted to better compensate for latency.
Ashral Heart now has proper loot scaling for level 40.
Old Yodler's quest "Juggernauts of Nordr" now grants the appropriately scaled Elite Gold Warchest upon completion.

Is it just my feeling or have the elites been nerfed? I mean not tweaked, but nerfed, for example the mobs. We had three quite smooth runs (1,2,3 Tindirin maps) without a tank. I think before it was rather a struggle.

If it's so then it's not cool due to several reasons mentioned by many in the general discussion.

The positive thing for me is that charged piercer makes a rogue escape from Alargarn grasp quite easily now without careful timing. I burned lots of plats there before. Cool for players, maybe not so cool for STS? :)

The mobs were definitely nerfed. Running them before the update required strategical manuevers and map whatnot. After the update, it's back to skill spamming mastery. Sigh*

Complaints should be on mechanics be happy you were able to beat the content before!

There was a noticeable improvement facing bosses like the troll and spider in which there were no mysterious deaths based on lag and latency. The gameplay was good and fair and still challenging without feeling frustrated.

As for the mobs being scaled down. I can go either way. Put them back up or leave them as they are. There were definitely fewer laggy deaths to deal with which made the gameplay smoother. And guess what? I enjoyed myself again!

Not everyone has >100 ping and devices/computersthat can handle a clean gaming experience.

Does this mean it might be too easy for 10% of the gaming population? Yes.

Does this mean 90% of the gaming population can actually enjoy the game as it was meant to? Definitely!
