I hope you haven't been buying your exp with gold? It's just so wrong in every way. I just learned about this option recently and am really surprised the gave that option. I never heard of a game letting you buy exp. Apparently people don't even need to use the weapons to master them as long as they have enough gold. Really really dumb. I won't ever be doing that, btw.

I have 'bought out' a couple weapons when the exp on them is really close to the end so I don't loose out. Is that a problem?

I just think it's a dumb option. It's a terrific, challenging game, and they already give you the option to Restart from bloodline one if you need to master more items. Allowing people to buy experience is just such a bad idea in any game.

I was asking if it will hurt me. Once I realized you could restart at bloodline 1 I started 'saving' items that were close to the mastered for when I restart and you get less xp. Also using the Ruin for when I 'restart'.

Yeah, definitely want all new equip when fighting the king. Learned that the hard way the first time, as I jumped from 12-15, mastered all equip, and still left a bunch of exp on the table. Am like 24 now, beat the 100 and he mastered my armor. Now I need to buy the highest armor and I aint got the gold. Gonna leave a bunch of xp on the table again fighting mobs to get the gold to buy it.

You can 'buy' the stat point, but you don't get the exp so it has a cost. Or does it give you the exp?

I haven't done it personally, so I can't say for sure. But I think there's exactly enough items/exp to get you to lvl 40, so it would have to give you the exp. Arterra might know more, since he used it a few times.

You get the same amount of exp on all items after each battle. So it must add to all equipment.

Are you sure you did not 'get' that exp?
BTW, easy solution for ruin. Equip it when you have the last ring against people not immune to fire and ice (best if they are immune to one, use the other). Was knocking 90% of their health out with one spell, then using the butter knife to finish them off.

Checked their forum, and it looks like you can get to 40 even if you pay to master weapons. I have mastered maybe 150 exp total (couple different weapons with under 50 left) and will let you know if I reach 40. I am like 34 or 35 now, and have mastered everything except weapons, so it is slow going.

What level are you? If you are close, just keep going and let us know for sure (which ever of us gets to 40 or runs out of items first).

I could test. Will master an item completely with gold, and see if my bar moves. Have not been able to tell because of small amount I was mastering compared to over all, and it does not give you a 'number'

Good News: Arterra, you do not need to restart.
Bad News: Lesrider, you CAN buy your way to 40.

Grt infinity blade first instead of buying level. A level 10 with infinity blade is stronger than level 40 with a normal sword imo.

How much gold do you get per mob on bloodline 8 on average? I'm on 4 or 5 and get 5K average.

actually 4k is like minimum. sometimes with gold helm on i get 10k per mob the whole way :D awesome.

Worse then that, drawing a U and it thinks its a circle, and instead of healing 3000 HP, you hit him for 50 damage. Mega Fail.

Hey arterra, should I buy a nerrix? It's 3 more damage, and it has 10 lightning rather than 15 bleed. I only have 60K now, it's 90K. I ended up buying some gear since I mastered all the gear I was wearing. So I now use ring of ice and fire (beast) plate armor, adamantine (best helm^.^) silverlight for the shield, and the same aeternum I've been using. Whatcha think?

Honestly depends. I go the nerrix and it is good, but you can prob survive on your sword for now and save 90k for infinity blade. Both are actually good. And 3 of absolute damage will be killing no-one lol.

Right now, my spells drain 50-90% of their health with ring of ice and fire. Now, since king has a defense against all of them. How much damage will it do? I had some ring before, it was bronze, with a skull, and an emerald looking stone on it. I forget the name, began with C, but when I did a spell (which was rare cuz I always healed) it only did 20 damage. So with ice and fire ring, is it worth doing spells to damage king? Or just use heal?

I save it until I master that item then sell it, or sell it if I did master it.

Also, let's not forget, depending on how the drops go, if we didn't buy that item, then maybe we wouldn't have looted it;)

Wooooooot! Beat level 100 king first or second try, I forgot. I looted a sun storm shield, so I'm switching between that and the wall. Man ring of ice and fire is a beast, I just use a spell that the person can't defend, and boom, down to 300 health on some of them :cool currently level 26

I also mastered my lady finger on that battle so now I need a new awesome weapon to buy, but no money :(
I mastered the ruin finally, and am working on the thorneblade. Still have to buy a few other weaker weapons to master.
Don't see myself beating lvl 150 god king yet with the weapons I have, so will prob just take the loss and do another bloodline. Also, my lvl 150 god king has a shock blade yuck.

Oh and I currently have everything up to the second-to last of all items except weapons, and i have the last armor (damn that took a lot of money). The last ring, shield and all the other weapons are gonna be soooo expensive. But I try to make sure that I have equipped maximum one item on that is mastered, so at least 4/5 of them are giving me exp.

Dude, I like the ice and fire ring more and more and more every time. I just one shot a fire paladin with ice spell on bloodline 8. Pretty pro if you ask me. Also, noobie question. If you restart bloodline, does king go back to level 50? I haven't restarted since I beat him.

So question for you guys who all seem to have bought the best items first. What do you do for experience when you've mastered all those? Or do you just use the best equipment on the GK (I often use some mastered equipment on him just bc it's my best).

Well, on bloodline 8 I just use my sword. Which has been mastered for some time, I'm gonna restart bloodline if I can't come close to 150 king, which I just exited the app when I got to him. I just wear the gear, top gear takes a while to master, but I often equip a shield, or helm that isn't as good if I wanna master it, but I always use my sword. Right now I have 2 things I use that are mastered (my sword like I said lol and my helm) so I think I'll restart after king. Then master items and such, and then bring out my big boy gear at king and his guard.

Question:

For king, he has defense against all spells so I usually heal, but right now he has shock. Should I use sun storm shield (25 blocks, (I get 4 from helm) that defends against shock and poison) or the wall (50 armor, and exp+) I'm leaning towards wall since I use shield a lot, and king hits -4 usually. But idk

I'm using wall bc I also like the extra blocks, even though I've gotten MUCH better at dodging.

I haven't tried lvl 150 GK with the shock sword yet, tho. I'm right in front of him but not trying yet.

Well, just got owned by 150 king. Got him to half health which took forever, and boom, owned me. If you miss one dodge I hate how shock makes you miss the next 4....

Also, what happens if you choose to join him? I'm guessing he tricks you and says something like "I lead alone" and then kills you unexpectedly?

I am at 38, and still have weapons left to master (just weapons, nothing else), and I still have not bought IB yet. Figure once I do, I will reset again and kill up the lines with just one slash.

Sell everything you don't need and play with legion helm on and get the infinity blade, once you get that everything is very easy.. oh pump more points into magic... magic rocks :)

Just a tip. Don't jump to best equipment! Go in order. Cuz the only way yu gain exp is by unmastered items. And the farther yu go in, monsters get harder to kill.

And yes, magic is very important. Lvl 3 heal give yu 2200 hp. That's plenty.

It's best for the iphone 4. I will explain why. The ipad uses the previous generation graphic chips structure. The Iphone 4 uses a updated version to keep up with these high level graphics. Plus the game will look much crisper on the Iphone 4. That's why I hardly use my Ipad for PL anymore. It just sits there as an ebook or for watching netflix videos.

Blah.. update good for 2 hrs of game play.. got to lvl 45 :p and nothing much to do except farm for gold and try to beat the higher lvl God Kings ...

But the New Marrow Fiend is very cool though :)

You can now buy gold with money. What a shame. Especially considering it's cheap. 750K = 20 bucks

Yeah if you spend enough money, you never have to play the game. Stupid choice, especially since they allow you to buy experience. Very dumb.

Ya... I already beat the god king, the game seems boring and repetitive now and I'm only level 19.

I'm on 2nd bloodline..stopped because I got bored. Your right range it's VERY repetitive, it's not that bad of a game though.

Ya.. its kinda boring.. but you can challenge yourself to beat the higher lvl God Kings.. I'm up to lvl 500 God King now :p

Btw, I join the dark side and brought Dungeon Defenders too... It's a cool game.. makes my mind think and it's quite challenging to play.. but i can't join any online games :(

level 45 maxed all items didnt spend a cent and godking is level 650... he almost 3 shots me now its crazy and i play this game just because i find it enjoyable :) like its repetitive at the start but it keeps getting harder when they use new combos etc and i have it on ipad so its stunning graphics wise

Level 45, cap is about 45.5 I need to master like one more item i believe. I mastered Infinity blade, just need to get the second most expensive sword for 150K then I am up to date:)
