Glacian vs. Hammerjaw

Ok another one of Trenton's silly threads. Looking to buy my very first ever Arcane pet, and I've narrowed it down to these two. Both of them have great stats for a Rogue, and both seem to have decent Arcane Abilities. My only problem is that I read too much into bad comments, and I find myself worried. Buying something for this much gold is a very crazy experience, so I don't want to blow it. I hear that Glacian is better than Hammerjaw because of its mana regen, but HJ's AA has a chance to stun. I was wondering how great this chance to stun is, and if its any good, because it also has chances to do other things. Now to Glacian, I feel like the stats are good, but what good is a pet with no great AA? Can anyone explain Glacian's freezing/rooting technique to me? Thanks for any feedback, hope to pick the right choice.

I'm not a rogue, but I do know that Glacian is best because of the mana regen, the AA's armor buff and more factors I don't know of because I don't own a Glacian.

Oh so I've been beating glacian users the whole time with Deary huh

It all depends on your build Treton..for example if u plan on pvp in lvl 15 and your a full dex glacian isn't Going to help you at all vs someone who isn't full dex and has good str and crit.

Also I would like to say the passive stun comes in handy if u want to own warriors get glacian if u want to own rogues get hammerjaw (its not that hard to kill a glacian user with a malison)

Glacian have best attack animation, and it is oly arcane pet which freezes target (Totally awesome in pvp n pve).

So i would pick glacian

Don't buy either if you're smart. Save up some more money and why not just buy the mother of all arcane pets? Samael is just too good, and if you buy HJ/Glacian, you're not going to have money to buy Samael in the future (if you're dissatisfied with HJ/Glacian).

Otherwise, Glacian if you want to really get one of those two.

I see the point of getting Sam of course, but I honestly don't think I'll ever spend that much gold on a pet. I see spending around 10m max, but I'd rather save for mythic daggers than get a pet.

Glacian's deficit of damage is unbearable, any pet without a damage boost is just a pain to play with.

Rly? That's what I rly wanted but Glacian and HJ were less than 10m, which is my line. I thought Singe was still 11-12m :o

Glacian's deficit of damage is unbearable, any pet without a damage boost is just a pain to play with. Noob I can make any pet work fine...

Don't save for mythic daggers - they're always bound to get outdated and outperformed by higher level weapons in the future. The best investment is ALWAYS A PET. These pets will lvl up with you and can learn new abilities as time progresses.
