In future you should consult guildmates or friends in game to advise on how to best open crates... or not open as the case may be

Locked crates are a gamble.

The greater the risk, the greater the reward.

You are better off using that Platinum on Reroll elixirs and run elites for drops and then sell that for gold. You will not only make enough to buy that Mythic/Arcane, but still have a decent amount still left over.

Crates are a gamble. Use the forum search function to find the 100s of threads just like yours, and take a read. There are plenty of strategies to open crates with. Become educated before blowing $100.

Are you gonna go to Las Vegas, blow $10,000, then say "Wow u should at least give me that advertised car there for gambling all my money away here." No, you wouldn't, you would just be bummed out and deal with it. The crates are the same way, its a complete gamble. Some people get lucky, some people don't.

With that 3,000 plat, you'd've best saved it for merching some vanities, making 6million+ gold and buying some mythics through the cs. At least you'd've gotten something out of $200 worth of in-game plat.

Locked crates are seriously a joke. Biggest waste of time, money, and excitement in any game I ever played. Like stated above IF I was to ever spend a penny on this game it would be for the occasional vanity or for reviving at an elite boss.

Locked Crates are a gamble. If you want to spend plat and be guaranteed what you are getting, then buy one of the many items or bundles available in the plat store. If you choose to gamble, there is always a possibility that you will lose. I've opened over 200 crates in the past and never got a mythic or arcane item either. So I know how you feel. But it is gambling, and you knew that when you did it. You were just hoping to win.

1 month ago i open only 1 locked crate without buying plat(i just get it from free offers).In the locked crate i find mythic armor and other items.I am so lucky first locked =first mythic :-)

"Chance" is a too much positive word, people get lured to easily...

Anyway, ive opened also around 250 crates and got 2 junk mythic lunar pendants last year.
And I stopped ofc, didnt want a third one lol.
Only interested in arcane pets.

Maybe, ill try again if they ever do low lvl myth/arcane gear.

Tbh locks are joke. I spent 2k plat and got like 5m worth of items and no arcane... And I have seen people getting 3 arcane in like 50 locks.

It's a game of chance and there's never any guarantees. Think of it as a donation to STS to keep the servers and updates coming! If looting good items were easy, they wouldn't be worth millions and u would be just as sad. At least you get 2k gold now instead of junk pinks!

Every damn time the same; disappointed OP complains and fwuuush a ton of intelligent experienced players go below explaining what gambling is and how should one spend his platinum and money wisely. Bleh.

I thought it was obvious that this guy just threw a large number in there after wasting maximum 300-600 platinum in unsuccessful crate pops. We need an STS subforum for all these threads; somewhere dark and far beneath the surface.

Sorry for your loss ;/ but it's all about luck. If you have 3000 plat, make a limit. Open maybe a couple every day if your determined, save some for yourself
