Or a 35 pink shield if it exists.

That armor is level 34 rather than 35 (the reason why its stats are worse), and a weaker version of the snipers croc leather, which adds crit and 1 armor. Its pretty fail unfortunately.

34 has nothing to do with, considering some 30s rival 35 loot.

As i said the reason why the stats are lower than the other is because it is 34. It was clearly done intentionally by the developers. I'm well aware of level 30 loot rivaling 35 loot; this however happens more in the case of weapons than armor. Armor accurately reflects level in most cases due to armor rating.

The level has nothing to do with it, it's just a different name and piece.
