LvL 41 Mythics

I think it's time to kick the "alternate" weapons back up with the release of level 41 Bows , Sword and Boards and Guns. Farming for the materials needed for the Arcane Ring is "cool" , but a good way for the mass to bridge the gap is to kick the subject weapons out some time soon. The current top Myth weapons should hold their value just fine due to the fact that they're associated with a different styles of play / builds.

It's definitely time for mythic bow lvl 41!!! And a shard upgrade to the hooks to lvl 41 O.O!!!

• Either you can afford the arcane ring
• You can't afford the arcane ring and all of the sudden, you have a ton of gold with nothing to spend it on. What does this lead to? Boredom.

As Zuzeq said, mythics are the bridging gap. Not everybody can afford arcane rings, but many people can afford mythic weapons. So, why not give it to them? By delaying this for the release of the upgraded arcane items, it does not benefit your mid player base at all. Why? They'll have just another item that they cannot afford, so what reason will they have to play? There's no middle ground - mythics.

Would be nice to have some decent legendary jewelry too, just sayin. There's exactly nothing at this point in the way of amulets, and nothing other than archon for rings. Archon which are.....only useful for 2 classes now....excellent.

Mythic weapons are the one mythic items that we do NOT need since there were new level 36 mythic weapons last campaign which are still better than the best level 41 legendary weapons. I think eventually there should be new mythic weapons, but they should leave that for later. How about new mythic rings and amulets. The current rings and amulets are level 30/31 and are due to be replaced.

As for helms and armor, I'm not sure if we need new helms and armor. I kind of like the current situation where there is debate over which are the best helms and armor, mythic or magma? It makes for good debate and makes sure that not everyone uses the same exact gear.

Reasonable people though are asking for a new Lv41 Legendary wave nearly as good as the Lv41 Mythics, then later on the Lv41 Mythics.

Mythics are supposed to last 2 seasons. At the rate they are holding back the release, these mythics will only be useful for 1 season by the time people are able to acquire them.

... Level 36 is dps based weapons, not looking for a repeat but new damage based mythics like the ones released at 31.

To be honest i waited so much time for a new mythic weapon release. The last time mythic weapons dropped from Locked Chest / Elite Puzzle was 6 months ago ( on the Halloween event ) I could not afford back then... But now i can.

The exciting part of using Crafting for this is the possibilities for the future. While we will only use Crafting for this initial new Arcane Ring, it may extend to old Arcane Items and additional new ones.


Mythic Items & The New Itemization System

There won't be any new Mythic items released when the expansion drops, but they will be coming alongside future updates and events. This is part of the new itemization that we have implemented with this expansion. We will be staggering new item release over time. There will be less new items to farm at the initial release. Then, a little further down the road, we will release additional content that hold the potential for different or improved items.




I wonder if the arcane weapons are going to be upgraded to a higher lvl this season . Otherwise i find hooks useless! Besides for people who twink at lv 26.

Good point, I suppose I wouldn't mind if there were new mythic weapons that were of the different type than the level 36 mythic weapons. Just make sure that the stats of the level 41 mythic weapons do not interfere with the level 36 weapons. For example, the bow should have better damage than the 36 daggers, but NOT better DPS.

I suspect in the future they may make use of the older arcane weapons. Perhaps make them upgradable, but not in the far too easy way that the mythic helm and armor were upgradable. Instead, imagine needing some really rare item like an arcane shard to do the upgrade. I think that may be the direction they decide to go. That way the older arcane items will continue to hold their value as they will still be useful at end game.

This crafting & upgrade system can be used in many ways, and I expect STS to use this for lots of things in the future.

Id like to see jewellery at lvl 41 and possibly a new Mythic hat as I liked the spacing of the armour last time covering 3 expansions.
