It's the total of number of Kills divided by the number of deaths a player has (Kills/deaths).
Example:
18900 Kills
4900 Deaths
18900/4900 = 3.857 ~ 3.9Kill death ratio

18900/4900= 189:49 in Ratio Form, When you divide it , it gives 3.857 but that isn't ratio form

A positive KDR is anything greater than or equal to 1.0.
A negative KDR is anything less than 1.0.
If you have 1,000 kills and 100 deaths, your KDR is 1,000/100 = 10.0 which is a positive KDR.
If you have 100 kills and 1,000 deaths, your KDR is 100/1,000 = 0.1 which is a negative KDR.
KDR isn't what determines a good player. In fact, a lot of leaderboarders have thousands of deaths! The purpose of a KDR is just to keep track of your kills and deaths.
