Highest ping survival?

I survived 90k ping last night in VL. I was so sure I was a goner, had my finger hovering around the exit button, but knew if I did that I was definitely going to miss out on the loot. So I watched the numbers climb, and at 90k I was back in the game! Never thought that was possible. I thought after like 50 or 60k you might as well log out.
So what's the highest ping you've lived through without getting kicked?

Edit: Guys, I mean Inwas still able to get the boss loot aftetthat. I was still in the game. After it hit 90k, it went back down and allowed me to play. I thought it was cool, but maybe this was a useless thread :)

Cool, that's what I wanted to know. I didn't think there was any chance of survival at that point, but from now on I'll wait till I'm actually booted from the server.

I would relog at around 20k. Relogging and rejoining a friend takes about 20-30 seconds.

I was wondering, like how les said that she stayed in game after 90k ping and survived, what if you do get to the 120k mark and get kicked off, was your character still "present" during that 120k ping duration? (thats 120 secs if I'm not mistaken?) Or does it kick you off from the moment you started your ping climb?

I would relog at around 20k. Relogging and rejoining a friend takes about 20-30 seconds.

Except if you're in middle of a boss battle, chances of getting back before he's dead are slim.

Also, it doesn't always put me back where I left. Sometimes I have to rejoin the game and walk to my team. So no fun and I hate doing it. I think once that happened, by the time I rejoined with them they had started mynas map, killed him and moved on to desert, where I joined them.

i understand it so:

the gamedata u have to download is buffered, and in those moments while u can't download it, the ping rises until that buffer is empty, then rebegins..
at higher pings ur device always try to download all bufferd data but when ur connection to slow, u dont are fast enough to get all and u get kicked.
when, for example, ur have a worser coverage of 3G for 30sec, and after full speed, u will download in time all missing data in time..

could it be? :)

Possible. So if you do get kicked off at 120k ping, that means after 120 seconds you were not able to re-download the data due to no connection? So that means the moment you started lagging (which means you probably lost connection), is when your are "disconnected" even though your still in game?
