ok, 2 things are not right with this, one, i dont give stuff away to random strangers, and two, that staff is none trade able, gift able, so what happened???

If you use a promo code, it does the same thing as "getting a loot drop" in a dungeon does. So, everyone in the zone sees what you received. Just the way as you, when adventuring with your party, can see what other people received.

If I am in town and I use a promocode, the chat window will show what kind of weapon I received.

I guess we should probably turn off promocodes, since they might be more confusing now than anything else...

If you do then make promo weapons tradeable. I got mine when I was a noob and ended up deleting mine because they took up too much space in my inventory of 25
