I think he prefers build 2 for PvP since he said how Build 1 has no restore because you spam pots in PvE

Falcomist: I prefer build 1 since I do PVE a bunch. But if you got enough re specs give both a try and see which one suits your need/want.
Mystical: Every pvp match you've been on with me is mostly build 1, build 2 is very good to a certain extent, 1v1 bears.
Blaquehaart: The reason for build 1 vengeful > crip is because the damage done is actually higher, root proc doesn't do a darn thing IMO. birds will run and so will mages, is why i maxed out beckon. oh p.s. birds will knock you back with repulse, and mages can push you away with the aoe blast.

Actually you're right, the root proc doesn't do anything because I think all the knock backs break it. I used to try to use it to combat stomp spam...but it doesn't do a thing. Hmmm...maybe I'll respec those points into vs.

Actually, I think both pvp and pve bears should max out beckon. It's the bears best skill.

Actually I do want to bump my own thread for bear's sake...these are actually the MOST efficient builds yet, melee-wise.

As far as I know it would more than likely up the skills' base damage, but...not by a lot, and your sacrificing hit% which is actually more important..

I think you should still put 1 point into crippling slash though. One point gives enough damage that you shouldn't ignore it.

But blaque, your thinking for a pve based thing, Suicidekings is focusing this around pvp I believe.

for pvp too...you'll put out a bit more bust damage with the extra slash...

Owh, I didnt know that. But if you observe properly, Bears have better damage and hit than birds.
