Fast weapons again

For those of you that did not notice, weapon speed have gone fast again, some even faster than before the rebalance :D
For example, mega and cyber blaster have 1.0 speed and gurg hammer have 1.4 speed!

My question is: is this intentional and why did the devs chose to do so?

I think the stats were displayed wrong before. The speed should still be the same but it's now displayed properly.
