One helpful hint i would like to offer for those trying to fill a farming and/or elite party. In guild chat, be specific when trying to fill slots. try the following.
/g 2 slots for elite <name of map> for <ap or farming>, <class most needed> I know it is a lot to type, but chances are high your party will fill before the need of asking for assistance a second time.

Following is to answer a question from guild chat.

30% class loot elixir: this is to improve the chances that the items you loot will be for the class you are playing. This is not a luck elixir and you will not see a reroll message.

25% luck elixir: this will improve your chances at better loot. You will see a reroll message, this improves the loot to more valueable loot.

Both elixirs state they do not stack. This means you cant drink 3 class loots for 90% chance at class specific loot and you can't drink 3 lucks for 75% chance at better loot.

You can drink one class loot elixir kit and one luck elixir kit to increase the chance the loot you get will be for your class And a 25% chance at better loot.

Hello guys

I've been in the guild for a while now, and I've been running a ton of elite with different players. I would like to give some tips from a rouge's P.O.V during an elite run :).

Warriors
The tanks main job is to pull all the aggro (Aggro; to hold the mobs attention and attacks on oneself). Pulling aggro is done by having one of the few tank skills that says "taunt" (Heal, Chest Splitter, Juggernat, Windmill). It can also be done if you charge your skills, which is highly reccommed for a tank :D.
If you're having trouble tanking the mobs with pots, Juggernaut is a great skill to unlock too :)

At any boss, we squishy classes like it if you could save your heal for when the boss does the "redzone" attack. Also, healing as much as possible when killing mobs.

Mages
The mages are primarily to hold the mobs CC chained (To CC; To Crow Control a bunch of mobs). That being the following combo: (All charged) Fireball, Ice, Timeshift, Lightning (Some mages use shield as the mobs do too much damage). Temporaily stunning the mobs, will relief the tank for damage and he/she can heal up a bit. A good tip from my friend Haligali, is to switch out Timeshift for Shield at boss, so you can possibly survive :D.

Lately the "bigger" mobs have been one shooting the squishy classes, so if it's possible we would love for you, the mage, to freeze and fireball the hardest hitting mobs!
(The "Big mobs: The Crab (Found in Elite Kraken Isles), The Witch & The Lizzards (Found in all Tindrin maps), The Ice Golem (Big Glacians, found in the Nordr), The Mages (Found in Shuyal)

Rouges
The rouges main job is to focus down the hardest hitting mobs. As a PvE rouge, the skillsets seen are different. Some uses 2 team based skills, and some only uses 1. Aimed Shot and Noxious Bolt is the mst commonly used. Rouges often switch between Piercer, Shadow Veil, Traps and Razor. (Just a quick reminder that Razor and Veil is bugged. Upgrading only the extra time on razor, also makes you immune to root, snares, stuns and panic/terrifies. Shadow Veil's damage buff does not apply in PvP, as the % damage buff does not work in CTF)

It would be lovely if the rouges would try to focus down the 1 shooters and the boss. It is also never good to charge your skills (Beside Veil and Razor) as a rouge, as it draws aggro to you.

To qualify for PvE, you must add an additional 5k kills by end of contest. For TDM, you must add an additional 250 kills. Remember it isn't only about the amount of kills but your kills vs deaths average. I recommend not stopping at your goal because in the case of an unlikely tie in KDR, most kills will be the tiebreak. :) **You May Not Participate In Both Contests. You Must Choose One**

Each winner will receive 300k Gold!! There will be additional prizes for exceptional efforts. :)

sorry i have not been on much. nasty lil bug still kickin my butt. breathing is such an issue i have quit smoking :(

coughing attacks are not controllable and will cause my tablet (and dog) to be dislodged from my body.

Hahaha, it's always fun to be able to compete for LB. Just wish STS would give us an only-guild LB. Now, that would be fun! Mostly geared up players stay in one guild, and less geared in others.

Following is some useful information for everyone. If you need clarifications, send the dev that posted the information a question via private message on the forum.

Per null_void 9/18/2014 Update
Balance changes to the Planar Arena, including:
• Elite Arena Master Chests gained after you overcome the 4th boss in the Arena, now grant two items per open, instead of one!
• Mother's Quick Spit attack has had its damage significantly reduced.
• Stahl's basic throw attack has had its base damage reduced, but crit damage has been increased.
• Glob's Charge Attack has had the initial charge damage reduced and critical hit damage bonus reduced.
• Rutger's Poison ability now lasts 5 seconds, down from 6 and has had its damage reduced. Rutger's poison now has a chance to crit.
• Arena Mushrooms have had their explosion damage reduced.
• Vortex Crystals have had their damage rebalanced.
• Captain Bloodhammer now shoots his cannonballs with less frequency. In addition his cannonballs have had their damage calculation changed and hit less hard
• Enraging Obelisk can no longer be banished.
• Poison clouds in the arena have had their damage reduced.

Other changes:
• Consignment Shop long listings have been corrected to be 3 days.
• Shady & Surge Death Pools now banish at an appropriate rate.
• Vial of Undead Ectoplasm is now Rare and no longer Epic. Its drop rate has been improved as a result.
• Timed run leaderboards have been reset.

glad to see everyone has a sense of humor about the chests In all seriousness this is a delicate thing to balance as we don't want the market to flood with Planar Gladiator gear either. Our ears are still to the ground on this one, but the odds of receiving the good stuff has also increased a small amount in addition to receiving two items.

We're keeping an eye on everything mentioned and will make future adjustments as necessary, we're still listening. Thanks everyone!

Sfu, I will PM But I really like this, I have always wanted to get a timed run leaderboard spot. Like Noisy I feel like I am a bit undergeared at the moment. Without an arcane ring, arcane pet, and mythic weapon I feel weak... I am close to one of the later two however so I have some hope...

Hey guys, i wanted to share this...
I merch a lot and i have been facing a lot of scammers these days. I know u must be thinking " there ain't no way i can get scammed in this game.. I m not so dumb.. Etc etc" and yeah i thought the same untill i got scammed..
So i will be discussing some common and some smart ways which scammers use..
1.The most common and u could say the oldest trick in the book is to change the number of "zeros" while making big deals.. They will change 2m to 200k by removing a 0 just before confirming it, i know its noticeable but sometimes u might get pulled into it.
2. Now this is the latest way of scamming and i had say itmight become hard to notice. CHANGING ITEMS TO DIFFERENT LEVELS.(This is the way i got scammed..). The most common scams include changing a lvl 5 storm sword potency/ assault to lvl 31 or changing 10 lvl captain axe to lvl 26 etc etc. Some scammers are really dumb But some are very smart.. They will do the negotiations for a long time and ultimately offer u a good deal. In the excitement u might want to hurry up and may not pay attention in trade.. So beware!
3. And the most unnoticable method these days is changing the class of vanities. This is not so common and sometimes r
Pretty hard to notice. E.g. - changing steel commando warr to steel commando mage. They will make reasons like lag or dc and cancel trade once or twice. And believe me u may not think so but u can get pulled into these scams.
Another thing.. Do not share your accounts with anyone.

I'm with you, I have goals for between now and end of the winter event. With the economy in its current state I don't know if I can do what id like. If not I'll have to reset expectations.

Halloween warrior ogre vanity = thumbsup, yeah buddy, they were due for a good one!

Halloween rogue vanities = thumbsdown x 1M (ogre might be good without the hood, time will tell, pumpkin one... seriously... did they get the idea from babies r us or petsmart)

Halloween sorcerer vanities = meh

Rogue hasnt had a really awesome vanity since kraken, if they did a day of the dead vanity i would drop plat on that for sure. For my sorcerer i will be grim for the holiday then switch back to white jester. For my tank i will totally go ogre for the holiday, then i will switch back to mythic. Nothin more impressive than a tank in upgraded mythic.

I disagree on the rogue zombie sfu, I love it. I also think the plucked witch from last Halloween was a great vanity for Rogue. I will still go back to my commando vest/kraken helm after events though.

Yeah the flagging is a fun social thing to do until the next event starts. One request though. Please lay off the love tap hits to flaggers. It slows things down and for rogues and mages could easily cause an inadvertent death.

FYI on leaderboard vanities


Hey guys, to clear this up, all of the top 25 winners for each class will receive ALL 3 vanities. That way, if you win on a twink, you've got a vanity for your main, or vice versa. They are only stashable though, not tradeable. So no trade-sies except to yourself.


Right now, we're kinda on the fence about the tradeable-ness. We can appreciate the viewpoint that wants them to be tradeable, but also like the feeling that hey, if you earn it, you get it!

We're not making a snap change to them right now.

Congrats to all who got LB and anything else they wanted to out of the event. I'd like to thank those that helped me in the last two days rush by Alt to Platinum so I have a Para gem in reserve. I was on Team WT4 most of the event not Team Event.

The only things I will suggest for future events are the following...

1. Make sure you have revives whether it is Ankh or Plat. Bosses like Paracelsus become super difficult if you are not reviving. More than once I was the only one in party using revives and believe me it felt like a waste and was very frustrating. Personally I prefer Plat with current Ankh prices but follow Ankh prices and buy when there is a dip.

2. Listen to strategies. Honestly I hated the strategy I saw some take of having one party member hold outside the Para Poison. I did much better with teams where all were fighting and I usually did para without dieing or if I did it was just once or twice.

3. Buy Kelvin if you don't have either Kelvin or George. Kelvin is a little better than George because of shorter cool down but both pets have 100% stun for many bosses, including event bosses up until now. A well organized party that effectively rotates their stuns you can nearly stun lock a boss like Para. So homework for next event... Buy Kelvin and level him up, he may be a one trick pony but it is a very useful trick!

4. Now this is personal opinion only but one thing that irked me just a little during the event was folks waiting in GC asking to be invited when someone found Para. I mean it would be great to find the top boss 100% of the time but someone has to find him. I have much more fun working with a good party that runs event maps continuously for at least an hour or two. This does require buying or manufacturing energy but you level much faster. For my main, Thrindal, I had 50+ forged energy left over from Ursoth and was able to make Platinum level within a couple hours of the event opening without buying a single energy. I then ran WT4 most of the rest of the event and have almost 60 energy waiting for the Winter event. My alt, Swicka, I only started using the last weekend of the event, this was a mistake on my part but I was able to reach Platinum within two days and only had to buy about 10 energy. The rest I used left over Ursoth energy.

Next event I am going to change up my strategy however. I will use Thrindal for event runs to max level but will run WT4 mostly with my Mage Swicka because Mage's are a beast in Tombs. I will also run my mage in event maps but will do so at a slower pace than Thrindal because I have no reserve energy left on Swicka due to my late start.


Overall I enjoyed the event and liked seeing so many Immaculate on the LB's. I found I just couldn't keep pace after the first 3-4 days of the event so I went the WT4 route to maximize my profit. Now I just have to sell it all so I can have some Gold to spend.

BTW, I had an "event" of my own few days ago. You all know Foksii,right? I use her as my own toon,but it's actually my gf's toon. She started playing cause of me,and she knows how much I love AL so she decided to paint me something for our anniversary. She started to visit sections of glass art,and finally she signed up for it. She painted my toon on a big piece of glass and I love it that much that I had to share it with all of you :)
I hope u will enjoy it half that I did :)

What will be interesting is whether you can farm enough bosses without Mythics to get the new legendaries. My bet is with the right party you will but Planar should be a PUG free zone unless you are farming deaths.

"Pausing Timed Leaderboards: If you DC on a timed run, you can't rejoin. We know it is maddening. We're going to temporarily disable the Timed Run Leaderboards for Elite Tindirin, Planar Arena and Planar Tombs content. We know it sucks to have that aspect taken away, but it sucks more to punish you for being DC'ed. We'll get it back on in the future."

I have read this several times, my interpretation is they will stop the Leaderboard, not the timer.

I did indeed need it Love... It was bad but thanks to you and Midi we made it! I do think it makes sense to get folks without the boss to team up and get it together. There really is no strategy except use the Ankh button as fast as possible so the boss doesn't reset. Stun works but the problem is there are so many vines your stuns usually go there not the boss.

I will say that I think if Mages could clock you might be able to control the Vines better as they all seem to spawn from the same spot. The rest of the party could then focus on the boss and more effectively use stuns. Until stability issues improve we just won't know however.

I cannot really remedy that feeling without becoming active again, but I doubt that will happen anytime very soon. With a tough year ahead of me (entering the college process and such) I will have to restrict my gaming habits to a minimum and therefore reduce my focus on multiple games which impede my focus but rather play what I can constantly enjoy without distracting from other matters.

I'm typing this on my iPod so I'm going to cut this to an end before I loose track of organization. I wish you all the best in continuing the fantastic support the community of this guild among other players and some moderators have brought to my experience though the Legends titles. Keep it coming to all the newcomers out there and make this experience as enjoyable as possible while you can. I may try to post on here (the thread) occasionally, but I think the rest of my foruming has come to an end for a while.
