Cyber staff verses keepers staff

I have not decided which one is better for pure int? I wear the cyber robe and hat. What do you guys think?

Cyber staff like the mirage staff is pure garbage on the mage. When did you turn in the quest? If you got the cyber shield, alternate between cyber wand and shield set and the keepers staff.

No cyber wand. Only cyber doll. You use the regular laser wand with it to complete the set.

Thank you. Seems like I can get my base dps up by 8 if I go int and dex. Is this worth doing? Or would I lose too much spell damage that I can't see?

^^ If I am correct DPS Only effects your weapon and 1v1 targets. If DPS counted mages spell damage and splash damage it would be like 5000-10000. So I would put everything into int.

I heard Cinco will work on getting a reacquisition of a cyber eye for those mages who already got the STR shield. I plan to farm some gold and buy a laser wand instead.

How many totems do you need to get everything?

100 totems, 50 shards and a few shadow prisoners.

The doll is the 4th quest.

First quest for armor: 100 totems.
2nd quest for helm: 50 shards.
3rd quest for 2H weapon: 25 shadows.
4th quest for shield/doll: 5 essences (basically certain shadows)

The totem quest: Argh! The shard quest: Argh! The shadow quest: Meh. The essence quest: Easy!

All the quests were pretty easy for me. I actually enjoyed it and met a lot of new people. Specially when you get to join a group of really good players. Killing the keeper before his shield goes up and everyone goes "nice
" or "wow" then you rmk. Takes less than 3 minutes for really good players.

oh yah for sure. getting the cosmos doll took me ten minutes max. The quests IMO get easier as you go along with them. Back on topic, i still see why people may use the staff( wrong choice however) because of looks and the set bonus. Keeper's staff is much worthwhile however. I still prefer the wand and doll for more mana and defense AND the set bonus. The damage mages do are very high, so you might as well use the 25 extra armor.

In level two of alien oasis 3, crush the keeper. those shadows near the keeper towards the end of the level.

No not those shadows with Mynas. Shadow Prisoners are found in random capsules in AO3 Captive Audience. When you break the capsule, they aren't the regular dungeon bosses, instead they look all black with an avatar saying shadow prisoners.

The ones in Mynas' dungeon I think are cyber ghosts or at least that's one to look for for the quest.

Personally if cyber staff had splash damage like keeper staff then it would be better. Id be willing to give up 25 damage for the extended benefits of the set bonus.

Agreed :). I really really hope they release one handed cyber weapons for bird and mage :). I can't stand how ugly the lazer wand looks now compared to the cyber set.

Hahaha I remember when cyber armor first came out everyone was pissed. Cinco threatened to take it away and everyone quieted down :).

LOL I wasn't here at the forums when it FIRST came out, but I was enjoying to play the game itself.
Still it should've been infuriating to a lot of people, since it dropped so many cosmos prices.

Why is it so darn boring? I'm sorry, but this seems like a really rushed equipment design. They shouldn't all look the same, especially if they're all just boring ol' black! Glowing hands or not, I prefer the originals.

It's too bad, too, bc there was a lot of potential here.


atually, cyber armour is worse if you want the void bonus, the only perk to cyber is your hands glow :)

heck no im not going for this, mainly because the hands glow BLUE! and blue is just a color i just go crazy about (in the bad way)!

oh, but with the set, you sparkle :)

Cyber Armor has a hidden buff that gives you +25 Health and +25 Mana.

The armor looks great with the upcoming 'Cyber Skull' helmet... which adds glowing eyes... and should be available tomorrow.

(But it sounds like if the items are not surprising new appearances - I should not make them available?)

*1 day after cinco removes cyber armor* Everyone will panic and start complaining about how they did not get their cyber's. Either way armor or not people are gonna complain :p.
