have you tried a shock lance before and after first skill rehaul? i dont think it is just numbers. same.

The numbers you are now seeing in the skills include the weapon contribution. The weapon contribution has always 'been' in the damage, but never listed under the skill. Try equipping higher damage weapons and you will see the skill damage change.
