It's a "Jalebi". It's revered as one of the most fattening foods ever :D

Both of you should try "Gulab jamun" and "Rasogulla". There are so many sweet delicacies in the eastern side (Bengal side) !!

And yes, Dosa is awesome!! Although, all those kinda dishes are incomplete without the chutney (dunno what to call it in English O.o )

Indeed they are! If you like them, you should totally check out "Kalakand". Typical bengali sweet. Soft and sweet and delicate texture!

I love Pani Puri! It's one of the most low calories, fun to eat junk foods ever! That is, if you don't go to a roadside vendor in India when you're not a native. Then, it's not so fun! :/

the immune systems of Indians/pakistanis can tolerate these things but anyone for example US goes there on vacation and eats one of these awesome and tasty yet dangerous foods he will be in bed other than going to look at the taj mahal :P and too much calories which makes it less appealing for the girls

Ramada does serve quality food. Although, I suggest you venture out in the streets for an authentic experience!
