Double Story Token Rewards! From now until Monday, the Wandering Minstrels of Arlor Daily Quests reward 20 Story Tokens a day instead of 10!
Premium Arcane Tabard armor and helms are now stashable.
New Elixir Kit, 30% Damage for 45 Minutes, has been added to Locked Grand Crate of the Watch, replacing the 50,000 gold possible payout.
The Operation Supply Drop Charity Banner is available for purchase from the Vanity section of The Store. 100% of the proceeds go to the 3rd Annual 8-Bit Salute charity drive.


The server will be down for 15 minutes for maintenance.

It's not an arcane armor and helm. Arcane tabard is like an old discontinued item just like heraldics.

It's stats are very bad and it is just a vanity to show off that you are one of the first to play AL.

I think those 30% elixirs will become a necessary item for elixir timed runs as the plat dmg elixirs are 25%. Good move, I like it :)

The new lixs have greatly missed the mark imo. They will only be used when trying for the timed run lb or haunted title. Other than that they won't be purchased. My feeling is the price will be low after this initial boom. I'm a bit disappointed. I think there was a real opportunity here to please the majority of the player base and unfortunately this doesn't do it.

I suppose it effects like maybe 10 people in the game at most... I suppose for the people that have had them stuck in their inventory... the fix is better late than never...lol.

I have to agree, they are already at 27k and falling in price. I also enjoyed getting the 50k gold payout as it usually would come after me getting a slew of conquistador gear.

As with anything newly added to the game we will be watching to see what happens over the next week or two. We feel the new elixir kit will be a good investment for farmers and levelers alike, and it removes a small part of the mechanics that fabricate gold into the economy from nowhere. The Elixir Kit has the benefit of selling for a decent price on the market, but more importantly moves around gold already in the economy. More elixirs and other fun things will potentially find there way into the crates and other locations over time, this is just an initial move in that direction. It's entirely possible of course that it does not go over well, and we can adjust as we need to accordingly.

As always we're listening for feedback in regards to the change. Thanks everyone :)

Very true! OK scratch that idea. I was thinking it wouldn't have a huge impact due to the current free flowing luck elixir kits, but I'm probably incorrect. I'm just tired of getting Ethyls and conquistador gear that hold little to no value out of lockeds. The 50k was definitely a welcomed site. I understand why it was taken out. Just hate to see the DMG elxirs already plummetting.

This would be better than the new elixir. However I think there is still an opportunity to move some of the gold around in the economy. If something was added that had a descent gold value and was desirable then it could help out new crate poppers. Currently if you don't hit a mythic or arcane they are pretty worthless. Many tales of the 200 crates opened and I got nothing. This ultimately leads to people quitting. By adding something useful you help these people that don't hit it big. Now opening crates without hitting the jackpot still has value. Crates are clearly STS greatest source of income. Right now they have diminished them instead of improving them. STS protect your baby here lol.

An elixir that greatly improves the chance of looting an arcane/mythic from crates would have some real value(maybe the next 5 crates). Also an elixir that greatly increases the chance of a super gem, although I'd prefer the first option. I think these would have some real gold value. Now, these are items that directly affect the current revenue system. It may work out in STS favor, it may not. I do feel that if there was an increased chance to get a mythic/arcane drop that more crates would be opened. It may even entice new players to try their luck if there is a reasonable chance to loot something. The super gem elixir would more than likely decrease platinum revenue. However, these could be added far less frequently than the first elixir . This could be held off on until the effects of the first elixir take affect. If revenue hasn't increased from the first elixir than this one shouldn't see the light of day. Just my two cents.

Why would u put a 4 plat luck item in locked? Lols.. That would be stupidity. . Spend 15 plats to get 4 plat luck elixir xD ..
30% Damage is something needful to be put in locked. . Cos 30% Damage for me is 522 damage + 156 dmg extra..

I've always wondered why there are +30% for each in the combo, if it caps lower...

In fact, I was just running around with a 25% speed elixir and then casting gale (with the speed upgrade) while running in a straight line and could not notice any change in my speed.
I was going by eye, but I'm pretty certain I'd see identical times if I hopped into a timed map and ran straight to a wall or something, as I can visually notice the difference of no speed upgrades compared to using just a Guapo.

Can we get a confirmation of these bonus caps? Otherwise...these 30% elixirs seem a bit nonsensical...
