equipment requirement question... Please help!

I’m an Archer but want to equip Sword. I just want to add STR to reach the reqirement to use the weapon only. But after that I will reset my attribute point that I added to STR and add all the point to DEX there for my question is will that weapon still equip or unequip from my character after I reset point since I the requirement does not met? Thank you for your help

It will stay equipped, but you won't be able to use it. Your attack button will disappear if you don't have the requirements to use your weapon.
