When all else fails... farm yourself

Been messing around in PvP for a while now. First time I saw this yesterday. Any idea how I can manage to kill myself? And no it's not ps'd Lol

When you have the ctf flag on you and you die because of the damage while you carry it, it shows as a self-kill.

Before anyone goes out there trying to farm himself with this, let me tell you it only adds a death and no kill. You're welcome. ;)

I was carrying a flag but it didn't kill me. Makes sense but just not what happened. I was nearing the goal with my flag and around 90% of my 3900 HP. Walked right past a mage because we had all been flagging but he pops me w a fb and I die for some reason it says that. Maybe I super lagged....

maybe because he used all his skills on you so you dont have any hp left? maybe lightning critted because sometimes that flashy light is hard to see.

Didn't know that if the flag kills you it says you killed yourself. Flag has never killed me before. Thanks to Parf for telling me to make a thread about this. Like I need to look any more goober -.-
Guess it was the combination of lag, flag and incoming damage.

You probably had a lag spike around the point the fireball hit you then more skills followed but the final 3-4% was dealt from the flag self-damage.

I have found it fairly common to attack someone for 98% and have the damage tick from the flag take credit for the final 2%. It doesn't need lag to happen.
