Which should I use for a Elite Boss?Lightning or Frost Bolt?

If you have 25% or more crit, I'd suggest Lightning with 15% more dmg and 250% dmg on critical. For boss fights Lighting is better than Frost. With high crit chance, you will do lots more dmg with Lightning crits than with Frost's DoT.
But yeah thats just my opinion.
I use both at boss fights, though.

nooby defensive non-samael build. Can get 25/near 25 without archon though with clyde or ribbit, and more with lunar pendant which I sold to buy tarlok brutality.

Use ice for crowd control. If you want go 5 skills by using fire, ice, light, time, shield. For mobs use fire, ice, time and when you get to boss switch out time for lightning.

Yes. Falm is right. If you have some leftover skill points, use 5 skills. Lightning and frost bolt are both helpful in elites. Frost bolt for mobs and light for boss. :)

You definitely need both ice and lighting. After having a few different builds I think the best build is as follows :5/5 Fire, 4/5 Ice, 4/5 Time, 4/5 Shield, 3/5 Lightning, 5/5 Str, 5/5 Dex, 5/5 Int, 5/5 Crit. At the boss switch your clock to lightning.

This is almost my build too, i use ice with 2 and 3 upgrades only and my clock is full.

at boss use ice and light. imo both ice nd light is must in elite maps.
