If you don't poke around in other stg forums you wouldn't have seen this
Z made a thread about being hesitant to play another game after PL's lack of development.
G is responding to a bunch of comments, and then, in response to Tearacan saying-"I sure wouldn't mind a PL2", G responds with "*shifty eyes*".
Now I have NO idea what that means, but I can't remember G ever *shifty eye* for no reason.

If they ever came up with the pl themed arcane legends style game, I would feel the same way I did when I met my wife, lol. It would be love at first sight.
And also I agree, g's shifty eyes thing means something. I havent seen it do nothing. It kinda excites me in all the right places (my finger tips)

Probably not going to happen, but I can't help but be hopeful. Who knows, it could be a backup game idea if AL tanks in the next couple of years.

Does anyone know who was the lead designer responsible for the art in AL?
I've always loved the style and design there more than any other game of STG, not just the HD aspect.

That was a good read, I still think more could have been done to keep pl on top of the game. I won't elaborate because when I have tried in the past it just gets deleted.

My only thought when reading that is that G was simply referring to AL in that post. He has always said that AL is the "spiritual successor" to PL, etc etc. I interpreted the shifty eyes as hinting at this thing we all already know at this point, without him having to say it again.
Personally, I'd rather have more PL than a whole new PL 2, but either way I'm not getting my hopes up until it happens. If anything were to happen though...

I'm sure you're most likely correct, but being that I occasionally intentionally attempt to contradict my own tendencies (in this case skepticism), I was entertaining the rarely utilized position of optimism. What if they weren't concerned with things like pvp imbalance because they had these huge plans they just hadn't quite solidified. *alarm clock rings* I wake....
