Singe bonus of Damge reduction 4% should be really replaced with something more useful, lets face it nobody really needs that 4% is just too low to be felt. Replacing it with 12% speed bonus or 10% would really make a lot of people satisfied.

opinions? i have him on a warrior

STG said that they will not replace the dmg reduction. So its futile to ask.

4% may be nothing at level 11, but it can be significant at end game.

LOL, are you serious?

That is one of the BEST stats on Singe. Especially for a Warrior who is tanking, period. Removing or replacing this stat defeats the whole purpose of the pet.

Dmg reduc 4% is basically + 4% of your current armor?
or is it something like incoming dmg 100 then singe 4% reduced it too 96?

I believe level is a factor in damage reduction. If I recall correctly, Armor / Level = Dmg Reduction %. So while an armor pet at level 11, like prance for example, gives almost 6% DR, at level 41 it doesnt even give 1.5. I'm pretty sure Singe would just add 4% damage reduction on top of the calculated damage reduction of your armor.

I'm a little bit unsure about the formula however, seeing as a level 1 would have 110% DR with abaddon...hmm.

Damage reduction and armor are two different things. I do not believe anyone knows the actual calculations for this, since it is so difficult and time consuming to test. It should be that if someone hits you 100, it is now 96, but the way calculations work in this game, I very much doubt it is that simple.
