Rumours spreading said that Magma Said has the best armor. (like best for elite maps such as tindirin elite)
I prove it with my warrior in selecting magma armor and helm, yes armor is high but many reduce another stats.
I don't know about another player and another class (rogue, mage or warrior).

So, I'm curious did you guys prefer Myhtis sets (upgraded) or Magma sets? (note: both of these item included gem ok)

Please, give comments! Would be very helpful and I appreciate every opinion ^^

I have mythic and am thinking of buying mag it looks slick. Mag has higher armor/hp but slightly lower stats. They are comparable though, at this point if I was going to choose I would get whatever one is cheaper in CS.

For mages mythic sets are hands down better than magma. Magma only gives small boost to health and armor while decreasing all other stats by a lot. The trade off just isn't worth it.

It's true. Can't speak for warrior or rogues but for mages magma armor sets are useless. Mythic gives better stats in everything except armor an the highest health you can get is with dragon scale armor. Mage Magma sets are about equal to devourer armor sets last season. Decent but not the best in anything. Better off with mythic or dragon scale armors.

Rogue magma takes a very big hit in damage. Only one really comparable is warrior which I think is better (at least for pve)

Imo magma for rogue blows. Not even close to mythic. No question.

Only thing I can think of usage of magma set is for warrior tank with "of will" version because it gives extra armor. Meh to mage it gives 15 worse damage each part, and worsen other stats too (of brutality version) and only increase by 100 armor for full set vs mythic, not worth it.

Every season as a mage i look for the legendary armor of will that has the highest health for situations where tanking is needed. For nordr it was champions of will and for shuyal it was architect of will. these sets always have higher health than mythic armor at the cost of damage.

I was figuring this seasons high health set would have been the magma set but instead its dragon scale of will/fatality with both having a 20 health difference between sets. If they had replaced the always useless magma of force set with an of will one I could have found a use for it but as of now I switch between mythic and dragon scale armors.

So you can say that warrior damage is not really important in hard elite maps because they are tank?

Maybe a warrior can defend himself by high armor, but the amount of heal (skills) would be reduce if the warrior use magma sets than mythic sets, isn't it?

As a rogue I kept thinking magma sucked, but I was comparing tarlok potency to magma brutality. Since potency isn't dropped of course I'll lose damage

Magma has it's purpose for Rogues, but it is extremely limited.

Essentially, I only use them as part of a high armor/high HP loadout when making a run to the boss. The magma set, combined with a speed pet is enough to make the run by yourself in Jagged Trail, but it is such a situational use, that it is hard to recommend a purchase. If you happen to loot a helm and armor, then great, feel free to use it, but I honestly wouldn't pay several hundred thousand for a loadout you may use once per map.

For the most part, the Mythic set still reigns supreme. Overall, it offers better DMG, better Crit, better Dodge and equivalent HP at the cost of about 300 armor. For reference, with my armor loadout, I'm well over 1650 armor (closer to 1700 actually), and with my Mythic/DMG loadout, I'm at about 1375 armor. The difference between the two is that I can survive a stomp from a shaman or a scorn electric bite; whereas, with the mythic, I cannot.
