A tree grows in Brooklyn.
A clockwork orange.
The inheritors
Catch 22
Lord of the flies
Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance.

I'm sure I could think of many more but that would just bore you.

The knife of never letting go. It's got improper grammar, spelling, and plenty of swearing

I just finished Shantaram by Greg Roberts. His first novel. It's epic, can't wait for him to do another.

Then of course there is the whole Pillars of The Earth series (forgot authors name)

And Clan of the Cave Bear, The Mammoth Hunter, etc. The whole 5 book series. I reread them from the beginning because there is soo much information to digest in one sitting.

Wasnt the knife of never letting go a teen series? I do not remember it being adult... At least the one I read... Anyways how about mystery authors?
