Damn this is the problem with the community, people spend insane amounts of time on useless stuff like guides etc., like a 20 pages long guide on "how to farm level 1 in forest haven" divided into 1.bosses 2.other enemies 3.average time of 1 run 4.the distance between 2 torches... Yes it does look nice and neat and you'll get praise from the devs (much like Lovenus' guides) but it's really useless, cmon everyone will figure it out in 2 minutes... I don't wanna crush people's dreams here but get real, although you (not you personally Bous) use a lot of colors, different fonts etc., your guides are just the very basic knowledge of PL and the topics 95% of the time didn't require a guide... Sorry if this doesn't make sense I'm tired but yeah I hope I got the point across... In a nutshell, the PL community spends insane amount of time on useless stuff in order for it to look neat and receive praise from people who don't want to be mean whereas people in other mmos spend a little time to make a short, effective guide that actually helps someone, unlike this. Where did this come from? O.o It's much easier to show pics, because would you like to type it all out? The stats aren't even showing off, they're average. Plus the other 36 pictures are for the stats of each skill..

That's kind of what I classified as the problem. Now you're asking me to glorify totally useless guides. Bad attitude? More like negative but constructive criticism. My boss doesn't talk sunshines and flowers to me, if I did something wrong, he tells me it right away. And I don't see you using all 39 pictures he sent you for your thread (Which I didnt know existed at that time, pardon my inability to know everything). Also, wouldn't it also be easier if you had him send you the pictures through a pm instead of making a thread for it? FYI, I thought my post sounded negative so I even added the last sentence that I appreciated his effort.

And incase you are confuzzled again, I'm not trying to shoot you down but rather figure out why you think I have a BAD attitude.

It's hard on my 4s to load all these pictures and scroll down just to make a post. Maybe iPhone is different than GS4 but I had no problem. And isn't it a bit ironic that you took forever to scroll, just to comment that it took you forever to scroll? Pretty sure lots of other people don't use iPhone, and don't have that problem, and not everyone has the typing speed of a god, so pictures may be easier.

I used an iPod touch 1st Generation, if anyone know what it feels like...80% of the time I was waiting for the photobucket app to open. Could have easily made this in 15 min if I had an iPhone 4+. Would have been better off using a potato.

If you truly took the time to type this out using your IPod 1st Generation, then I admire you for your perseverance. However, I'm a little skeptical because I am pretty sure only IPod 3rd Gen and up supports PL.

If you truly took the time to type this out using your IPod 1st Generation, then I admire you for your perseverance. However, I'm a little skeptical because I am pretty sure only IPod 3rd Gen and up supports PL.
I had to email them pics to myself. I used my daddy's phone to take the pics. I could have just made the thread with his phone but I didn't want to download multiple apps plus he was in a hurry. I own a nexus but have never bothered to learn how to take snapshots and post with android

Even if it didn't take you so much effort, the point is that I made a thread asking for help to which almost no one responded to. (Shout out to Troncaat, though!) Ign could have helped, but he didn't. Instead he decided to be critical of you for not helping by the standards he considers to be right, even though I specifically asked for pictures. On top of that, your asking for rep was somewhat just a joke anyways.

Yeah that's true. But Micah just needed the pictures to see the stat differential, so that he could come up with ideas/examples of what to nerf and why. Atleast that's what I'm assuming.

What is this carebear stuff I'm seeing. I am also wondering for the reason to make a thread including every skill in the game as it was dedicated to just 2 persons, mighty and Alex (I think he can open up some excel file to see them). Why was a thread necessary while a simple Pm would have done the same job more efficiently? Thanks begging and/or necessity to show "look at me, I helped!!!!"?

Aren't we allowed to share our genuine opinions even though we haven't tried to help? Our opinions are wrong because we don't have the right to judge because we haven't tried to help?

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the stuff u r doing Micah, I just dislike the way how some people were treated in this thread just because they said their genuine opinions.

Honestly it took ~10 seconds to scroll to the bottom which is relatively long but isn't a big problem now that I think about it. My original intention was to criticize the OP for asking for rep but I guess it is not my job to do so. I'll admit it was unnecessary for me to comment about those two parts but I am still, erm, bewildered by the fact that my comment was viewed as having a "bad attitude". I'm also still wondering how typing out the stats for skills and sets take more than 20 minutes, even if you type it out word for word.

Is downloading the Spacetime Community that difficult? Then holding sound down + power button to take a screenshot? And then simply using the "attachment" option to attach pics from gallery? Cmon... That's way easier and less time consuming than emailing everything.

I can't choose to help when I don't know you needed help in the first place (I quit silently a few months ago). And even if I actively chose not to help with you with your thread, I've tried many times before to help create a more balanced endgame or promote a new level cap. And wouldn't it make more sense if he posted the pics on your thread instead? Threads are created if the topic is somewhat unique, posts are for replying to a related thread. If everyone makes a new thread when posting a reply, the forum would be cluttered with "threads". So maybe he was joking about asking for rep. But a message based from a stranger based on pure text alone without even emotes makes it hard to tell if it was serious or not, don't you think?
